"This makes me insane, I see only darkness. I don't like it..." After a whole while, he could not stop himself from commenting.

Suddenly the entity widened its eyes in shock.

Suddenly heat overcame him and he lost what he deemed his last bit of consciousness.

The voice around him had long been ignored by the entity. But he should be called a man now since he remembered being a man.

But little did he remember anything else. Even after waking up and glancing around himself, there was only a dark place awaiting him and his memory was still as fuzzy as ever.

'What is this? I am still here? No, I feel different.'

When moving around his supposed body he felt himself moving and soon with all his might he heard a clear crack.

'Crack? Oh no! Did I break my back or something? But it doesn't hurt?'

Ignoring the crack without pain soon revealed to him that outside was another dark room.

But this time his eyes could see a sea of white eggs littering the place around him.

'What in the world? Did I land in some wonderland as Alice did? Did I go nuts and now I am a prisoner of my mind?'

The small lizard got agitated and crawled out of its shell and complained by kicking the eggshell with its hind legs.

The eggshell didn't seem to be impressed and stood perfectly tall.

The small lizard glared at it. He didn't even know why he felt so angry. Looks like his brain was still too young for staying focused long enough on something.

'Status...status...Ah, right.' The next few minutes the lizard waddled around the nest and looked at various eggs. Touching each and every one of them until a window chimed.

'Well, looking at those skills all in all I can assume I am not completely lost from the start. I can basically strengthen any aspect of my stats by a small amount and that tempest affinity is probably why my speed is so high from the get-go.'

Making small sidesteps on all his four feet was making him look like some overactive happy little child that completely ignored everything around itself.

The lizard didn't even notice yet its own characteristics. It was so small that it barely looked like a small-sized gecko. At least the mix of black and deep blue on its skin could camouflage it a little bit from potential predators.

Neither did it notice that it was walking immensely fast with all four of its tiny limps.

'That should help, but I am worried about me needing to bite my opponents in close quarters...And I feel hungry already. Gotta get something to eat very soon. I can already see my red bar shrinking....'

Looking around he wondered what all the other eggs were now? They couldn't be his brethren, right?
