"Wororororo!" Since the last time King had seen his captain having so much fun!

It shamed him, the man that he had sworn his life to was seemingly having fun for the first time over a decade with something other than drinking. A light of the likes that hadn't been in his eyes since the execution of Kozuki Oden was shining in his eyes as he swung his kanabo which met it's match in the stranger's attacks.

"Damn, can't they just stay still for a moment?" King heard his fellow far less powerful and useful crew member Queen grumble and his eyes widened before settling into a glare as he saw what the fat ass was holding.

"Queen, what is the meaning of this?"

"Isn't it obvious?" The overweight pirate asked as he took aim with the high tech bazooka in his hand pointing towards the fight between their captain and the mysterious challenger.

"I'm ending this." Queen said as he prepared to pull the trigger, and then the barrel of the bazooka fell to the ground; cut by King's flaming katana.

"What the?! You got any idea how much money and work I had put into that, you fucking torture loving pervert?!"

"Quiet down, fatso!" King snapped back and his fellow All Star glared back at him with a vein bulging on his head.

"I have to stay fat you ass, or I'll end up far too popular!" But King was no longer listening to him, his focus was once more on the ongoing battle.

"Look at them, truly look at them." The hidden Lunarian said with a soft tone and for once in his life, the Queen the Plague listened to the King the Wildfire and looked at the battle between the man he had dubbed in his head as 'upstart' and his captain. They were…

"Smiling." He muttered with a frown, the round genius was confused.

"For the first time in years, Kaido-san is having fun. I won't let you ruin that." King declared and Queen decided to stay quiet. He did not understand why the people around him were so fixated on battle instead of simply winning, but he also knew that ruining his captain's fun likely wouldn't be good for his health.

Though it's not like his intervention was needed anyway, since Kaido-san was about to end it. His clue to that? The emperor turning into an enormous blue dragon.

"Take this, Bolo Breath!" The giant dragon puffed his cheeks and then opened his mouth unleashing a giant blast of fire towards the man who seemed to have decided to end his own life since he wasn't moving out of the blast's way.

The giant torrent of fire got closer, and closer, and closer until it finally impacted the man…

"What?"

…right before it started to enter his mouth.

The man that had killed Orochi and challenged Kaido, was eating fire!

"Thanks for the meal." He said with a burp as he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand before smirking at Kaido.

"Let me show you how it's really done." And then the man's skin turned into a fiery orange and became scaled before he started to get bigger. The scales covered his whole body and his face started to elongate, his body became more serpentine and a tail grew from behind him.

Before long, there were two dragons in the sky.

"What?" For the first time in years, Kaido seemed to be too shocked to say anything. His mouth was open, but no words were coming out. Then the new dragon opened his mouth as well.

"Taiyōryuu no Hōkō!" And a sun appeared in the night sky of Wano.

This was fun.

Such was the bizarre thought of the emperor Kaido as he tried to shake off the damage he had taken from the other dragon's breath attack.

Another dragon… he couldn't help but wonder what else this Retsu Kaioh would show him.

Though he was kinda miffed with the fact that he could eat fire since that meant he couldn't use Bolo Breath and it's spin off techniques which were some of his favorite techniques.

But he still had others.

"Tatsumaki Kaifu!" Like his tornado Wind blade combo! Which seemed to be doing a decent amount of damage to his opponent.

"Don't let this end now, we are just getting started!" Kaido yelled out as he covered his whole body with conqueror haki and then covered himself with with wind as he spin towards the other dragon, who seemed to be on fire.

"Take this! Tatsumaki Ryuusou!"

"Metsuryuu Ougi, Suryastra!"

As their attacks came closer, Kaido thought that if there was a god in this world, he was begging them to let this battle continue for longer! Nothing else mattered as long as the battle could keep going!

As the battle finally seemed to near its end, King decided that it was safe to get near the fighters and flew towards them in his pteranodon form.

The land the battle had been waged was a mess, if there had been any kind of settlements near them, it no longer existed. For as far as the eye could see, there was only scorched earth. Truly, a battle between dragons.

And in the middle of that scorched earth, was Retsu Kaioh and Kaido of the Beasts. Each of them panting with wounds all over their bodies, looking close to death.

As King gazed towards his captain, he could only wince at the huge wounds on his chest and forehead, each would definitely scar.

It was a bizarre sight, to see his captain so close to just fall down. He looked worse than… King wasn't sure if there was a moment appropriate to compare to this battle.

"Worororo, you really are great." And yet the emperor of the sea had a smile wider than any he had worn since he had taken over Wano. Kaido almost looked like a child with such joy in his eyes.

"Hah, right back at you." Retsu Kaioh said between gasps, looking like he was ready to fall with the smallest gust of wind.

"Retsu Kaioh…" Kaido said as he planted his kanabo to the ground. And his next words shocked King to the core.

"Join me."

"Heh." Retsu Kaioh smiled and he started to fall back just at the same time as Kaido himself as he uttered his answer.

"Why not."
