“Well excuse me about knowing some of your business. We’re the only ones of this generation so we’re pretty close.”
I nodded for her to continue, not yet sure on how I feel of whatever “business” she speaks of.
“Well he told me about your situation with your mother, and how he feels you stayed so long and dealt with all of it more for your brother. So you wouldn’t be someone else that left him. You know?”
Nodding my head slowly I took in the words she was telling me imagining Soul saying it instead of her.
“He mentioned the respect you have for Aunt Irene, and how highly she speaks of you. He told me how she fawned over you as if you were her own daughter. Made him have a small crush on the girl he never knew.”
I was taken back by all this information trying to hide it from my expression but failed miserably. I glanced around hopeful Soul wouldn’t hear she was telling me any of this.
