Colt kicked the door closed behind us and tossed me on the bed causing me to laugh. I then looked at his face and grew nervous. We hadn't slept together since after our date over a week ago because Colt had been busy with getting ready to leave and then he was gone before we even had a chance to think about doing anything again. I had been thinking about this and it was clear by the look on his face that he had been too.

/"I have to apologize,/" he stocked toward me. I frowned at his words hoping it was not an apology that accompanied a confession. /"Don’t look so worried there, Gummy Bear,/" he laughed. /"I just want to apologize for the last time we were together everything was so quick. I can promise you that this time that will not be the case./" I nodded and forced the lump in my throat down.
