CHAPTER 34:DESPAIR

i thought he was dead.. how come he's alive. anna in her mind her hope to see apathy rises but doubt that he will comeback to his own sense crushed. her atmosphere darkens. lara sat beside anna in the dining table. you're thinking about what happened earlier aren't you. anna nodded in response i thought apathy was dead when i finally got over his death he suddenly came back. tears crawled down her cheek. lara looks down i wish i could help get him back but i don't know how. she said in a weak voice. kenny came in the room and said if you wanna get him back you two better get strong because if you don't you will get shredded by the monster that took over him. duke entered the room . LARA! ANNA! WE NEED TO GET BACK TO THE KINGDOM RIGHT NOW THE DELEMOIRE KINGDOM IS PREPARING AN ATTACK TOMMOROW MORNING! lara stood up sweat started to drip down in her face lets go back before its too late the tension started to rise and a dreaded atmosphere fills the room. kenny then said to lara. once you arrived at the kingdom tell them that the demon kingdom will send in back up.

the sudden attack of the rival kingdom launched its attack to the azrael kingdom. along with it are its allies bahamuth and ferucia. 3 hours later duke and his men arrived and the kingdom and headed straight to the castle to tell the king that the demon kingdom will aid them. and lara went to her mansion to get her child to the carriage along with her parents but lara did not got in because she is a imperial soldiet she has to fight. all of the carriage went for the gantaro kingdom to seek refuge and has the highest trust of the kingdom. the soldiers and the imperial guards readies their weapons and bodies for the invasion. the atmosphere of death covered the kingdom.

the carriages ran in the darkness in a rush one of the barrel full of food was not secured enough it slides off the carriage and hits one of the horses hitting the leonhart family carriage. lara's mother hugs her granddaughter to protect her as their carriage fell off the cliff.

eliza wakes up looking around she saw her grandparents lying on the ground she tried to move her right hand. but she cant she lets out a scream of pain as she tried to move it she began to cry calling for her mother a wolf slowly walks to eliza. she crawls backwards screaming dont come closer as the wolf gets closer. its head gets pinned in the ground. she looks up it was a large man with armour in black. it has a cloak around it but it does not have a helmet on it instead the man was holding it. it threw the wolf in the tree knocking it out. the man has a face of a fine man its hair is stiff like it was not washed for a long time his eyes is pure black except its pupils are bright red. then it kneels down and it held out its hand. telling her to grab his hand and follow him..elize had no choice but to accept so she grabbed his hand. and walked along the armored man.

lara's face became pale as she read a letter of one of the guards guarding the refuge carriage that her family carriage fell off the cliff the guards went down to see if there's any survivors but they only found the dead bodies of her parents and the horses her child's body was missing. upon reading the letter she dropped to her knee and stared at the ground giving a face of despair. anna duke kile and nalia quickly got beside lara to comfort her. and nalia told lara that her daughter might be ok since the body of her hasn't been found yet she said to lara to give her hope. upon hearing the words of nalia she then said you are right she is not dead until i find it she clenches her hand and cried. losing her family in one night . was heavy . 3 more hours until the army of delemoire arrives..

the time has arrived the army of delemoire has the numbers of 35,000 while the azrael kingdom has the numbers of 20,000 including the demon alion and gantanron kingdom backups.

the battle commences the delemoire army seiges the attack by bombing the walls the archers of azrael fired flaming arrows but some of the bombers got through and blows up a hole in the wall but after the wall was another wall of shielded soldiers but after a while the delemoire soldiers got through the defense . the blood shed continues lara jumped in the battle and did not try to hide his magic because she is now a imperial guard. she activates lightning dragon and accelerate she began massacaring the soldiers but the some soldiers also has magic and those that has ground magic blocked the lightning magic while getting up the wall anna quickly drinks a magic potion quickly filling her magic up to get her back in battle. on lara's side she fired fire balls in quick succession and the general of the imperial guards fired metal magic. but once the delemoire kingdom army generals got inside the kingdom the tides of battle has become one sided the azrael kingdom was severely out numbered 25,756 soldiers are in the delemoire kingdom while in the azrael kingdom was left with 7,591 was the only ones left. the king then ordered every one leave the kingdom and follow our refugees this we cannot won this battle. but our king the kingdom? listen well generals lives are more important than this kingdom so this will be my last orders as king flee to another kingdom!!. the other worlders was also exhausted in the battle since their magic is almost depleted and magic potions has ran out they quickly retreated one by one those who chose to sacrificed their self to let others escape was murdered one by one. the delemoire kingdom lets out a victory cry. while defeat and sadness are around the azrael kingdom.

apathy let the child sleep in the cave he made his own home he looks upon his once home and he let madness take over to wipe the delemoire army. once he murdered all of those soldiers and ate them he will become the demon emperor . he puts on his helmet and marches to the kingdom.
