Old Man of Jewels

The current head of a Toshaka family was not having great time in the current Holy Grail War. His plans suddenly went into disarray. An unforeseen event occurred in the war.

His plans to make an alliance with the Saber and her master thwarted by another servant.

Caster was already an unknown in the war, so was the Lancer. Their masters were also enigma to him. Until now, he believed that his servant had made quite a reputation in the battlefield. But that reputation was no longer here.

After the fall of Caster servant and the end Berserker servant, his perfect plan was not working at all. Then there was the lack of response from the Matou residents. So, he sent the Assassins of Kirei there for investigation purposes. And what he found there, had shocked him and Risei.

The entirety of Matou manor burnt into crisp and the whereabouts of his daughter was nowhere. For the first time in this war, Tokiomi felt worry. His thoughts of reaching Akasha, was no longer there.

Currently, Aoi and Rin were unaware of it. He hid the incident for now and wondered if it was some sort of experiment blast of Zouken or something.

"What should I do? There are total 4 servants in this war, excluding the assassins here. If I just make at this point, then without any goal to divert attention, it will backfire upon me. This is getting troublesome at this point."

Tokiomi muttered to himself and thought hard about his next stage of plans, but could not come up with anything reliable. There was always this possibility of his servant causing problems or this Lancer servant to change the course of his plans.

"You are thinking to hard, Tokiomi."

He heard the kingly voice of his Archer servant, who seemed, surprisingly, happy today. It was a rare sight to see him talking to his master.

"What do you mean, your majesty? Do you know anything about this?"

Tokiomi took his chances to take any information from his servant. Only Gilgamesh was his choice to turn the tables in his favor again.

"Yes, I know the cause of this. But it seems the man out there, has something interesting to share."

Gilgamesh stared at the only door of their room. He smirked at the door and gestured Tokiomi to open the door for him, which he hastily opened.

"Yo!"

An old man with grey hair and well-trimmed beard gave his rather awkward greetings. For a second, Tokiomi blinked in surprise until the understanding hit his head.

"Wi-Wizard Marshall?!"

(Few minutes later)

The gentle aroma of tea filled the exquisite room of Tokiomi. He had been wondering on his recent situation for few minutes.

Not only the Wizard Marshall was sitting here, in front of him, who was also sipping tea with perfect etiquette.

"The tea is good. You are pretty good in tea selection, Tokiomi. Compared to the other two menace, you have some manners atleast."

Zelretch, the magician of 2nd Magic, complimented him.

"Thank you, uhh.."

"It's fine. You can drop the formality here."

"I see."

Tokiomi nodded in return and sipped his own tea. He knew that the presence of Wizard Marshall was not just on whim. He only interfered in the matters of world, whenever there was some peculiar stuff about to happen.

"So, the reason of my arrival..."

Zelretch started to speak with a serious tone, that even put Tokiomi at edge of his seat.

"When I was absent at the Clock Tower, which I often did in the past. I sensed some foreign presence there."

Now that piqued Tokiomi's interest, he shifted slightly towards to better listen him.

"The magic I felt, was outside the basic norms of magecraft. It is like someone has smashed the True Magic and Magecraft to create an extraordinary magic. It is bizarre and very... evil."

The last word was spoken with a tinge of hate, noticed by both Tokimomi and Gilgamesh, who was listening his words as well.

While Zelretch himself, was a mischievous magi and often caused conflicts here and there. It was his first to hear him, saying this in such a serious tone.

And there must be a good reason behind it. From his words, this entity was possibly be very strong if he could a magic of that caliber.

"That's why I have decided to enter into this Holy Grail War as a wild card."

"What?! Is that even possible?"

Tokiomi asked in surprise. It was his first time hearing such a thing. Like somebody just broke the rules of a ritual, to just fulfill their works.

"Yeah. Of course, it is possible. The three families may be the founders of the Holy Grail War, but I am above their limits. And don't worry, it will end pretty fast."

Gilgamesh chuckled like he heard a joke. It was a genuine laugh coming from him.

"Tokiomi, I must say that your master is more interesting than you. How about this? You will become my new master and I will also help you to achieve your goal. I will fight against that thing on your behalf. Seems fine with you, right?"

Tokiomi could not believe that his own Archer servant was betraying, no, leaving his sides. It was totally different than he planned at all.

"Your plans are too boring, Tokiomi. I want a real fun in this battle. So, hear my order and don't disturb me with some hollow words of yours."

With one glare of Gilgamesh, Tokiomi understood that he had no options to stop Gilgamesh. His servant, for the first time of being summoned, showed seriousness.

"Excellent! And you don't need to worry about your chance of fighting here. Once I will end this issue, you can continue your battle as a master."

At this, Gilgamesh just groaned whereas, Tokiomi smiled at the prospect of getting his wish with such an ease.

But, if his master was joining the war on his behalf, then it would be a child's play.

[Omake: What if Pandora's Actor met child Gil in his lifetime?]

Tokiomi smiled at the servant in front of him.

With the golden light coming out of his servant, the head of Toshaka family was sure that the battle had already ended in his favor.

But what he saw after this golden light, baffled him.

The blonde guy showed a mischievous smile upon his face. Kind of unsettling with the golden Nazi longcoat over him, he smirked at him.

"I have been summoned finally. Mein master! Holy Grail War is now ours!"

"Huh?"

"Don't be surprised. For you have summoned the greatest amongst all servants, the bane of gods, the king of Uruk and finally..."

He posed his right hand with a closed fist and continued...

"...the best ever servant if yours. Gilgamesh!"

Tokiomi froze. He hardly understand the pose of Gilgamesh. On top of that, his Nazi military styled longcoat was another mystery that he could not solve.

"Hmph. I allow you to stare at me and my awesome, mind-blowing looks. But I don't swing that way, so don't you dare fall for me."

He winked at Tokiomi and gave another poses like he was practicing for some audition or photo session.

At that time, Tokiomi called only feel one thing in his heart. And it was not pride.

It was...

...embarrassment.
