Chapter 5; One last chance

" Please do so, while I freshen up upstairs" Tina said as she moved up the stairs to her room.

Today she was attending a birthday party for the Old Master Johnson, she had received a special invite and told her guard to prepare a gift ready. Freshening up she went down to the dining area, ate and went back to her study room, she opened her phone and saw, mails and messages, calls notifications. She started going through the mails.

Tatiana was in her room when she received a call from her friend, Effin.

"Hello Effin," she greeted her politely.

" Hello Tatiana let's go out for shopping, are you not attending the Old Master Johnson's birthday? do you have a gown already?" Effin asked curiously.

" No I don't have, let me drive and meet you at T&T shopping mall, there are good gowns there." she ended the call and dressed up, rushed down the stairs and drove out, went shopping.

Tina replied all the calls and messages, it took her time. She called her stylist Divina.

"Hello Divina, I want a black gown, strapless and backless, it better be small in size but stretchy material, with a matching pair of short hills, and a grey suit with a black shirt, and black leather shoes, to my home address am waiting."

" Alright madam I will send them immediately." Divina replied politely and got down to business.

Tatiana shopped around with Effin and they returned together to her home, got ready and they headed towards Imperial Hotel, the function was happening there in the biggest hall.

When it was seven in the evening Tina drove her Jeep towards Tatiana's home, with the dress and accessories, knocked at the door and the servant opened the door.

"Is Tatiana in?" Tina asked politely, she didn't want to scare the maid.

"No she went earlier with her friend." the maid replied softly, but deep down she was scared.

Tina turned cold and frightening all over, ' I told her to stay at home, didn't I ' Tina turned even more cold.

She went back into her Jeep and drove slowly towards the town center and arrived at the Imperial Hotel, she passed the key to the valet, walked in accompanied by two shadow guards, who were shadowing her.

They walked into the hall, it was filled to the brim, the old man was a renowned figure in the country, James, Old Master Johnson's grandson was the first one to see her, walked forward and welcomed them.

"Welcome Tina." he said enthusiastically, but Tina just nodded and walked towards the Old Master.

"Hello Mr. Johnson, may you live abundant life full of bliss." Tina greeted him with her flat voice and signalled the bodyguard to present the gift.

The bodyguard passed the box to the Old man, he received the gift as he said, "Thank you Tina, even your own presence is a gift already." Johnson flattered her, but he could see, she was angry. Tina nodded and sat down the sofa comfortably and the guards standing behind her.

The guard served her some wine, she leaned back comfortably and looked at the people. Looking around she saw Tatiana laughing happily, she felt a piercing stare and turned around, came into eye to eye with Tina, Tina looked away, she didn't even look at her twice.

Tatiana could tell she was angry, then she remembered what she was told, she walked towards her and wanted to approach her but got scared midway by the bodyguards. Tina closed her eyes to relax.

Those few who recognized her, didn't dare to greet her, they knew she didn't need it, nor could she take flattery.

Another lady spoke out sarcastically, " Some people are just poor, they don't mind showing up uninvited places with bodyguards following them as if they are big bosses. So what if you have bodyguards, you are just bluffing, humphh!! You doesn't own bodyguards? we just don't need to show off"

" Everyone, down on your knees." saying that she emitted a strong murderous aura and pressuring aura, that everyone went down on their knees, by themselves.

"Speaking to me? you better do that down on your knees, Insolent woman. Who do you think you are? Kill everyone here, all of them" Tina questioned coldly as she banged the table. The other secret guards around the building wanted to drop in but Felix signalled them not to show up. He could tell she was in a terrible mood before she even stepped into the hall. 'This stupid woman had to speak out at such a moment.' he thought in his heart.

One of the guard, Felix saw the situation getting worse, he moved forward and whispered politely, "please Tina let them go, this is a birthday, don't ruin it, it's inconspicuous to shed blood."

" Alright I will let you go for today, arise." Tina said coldly, and continued sipping the wine.

"Tatiana what happened?" Peterson moved near her daughter and asked worriedly.

"I could be the cause of all this, she said I stay at home but see where I am. I disobeyed her orders." Tatiana replied bitterly. She felt her one chance slipping away.

Tina looked at her watch, It was almost 10:00pm into the night, she has already stayed one hour, she felt exhausted.

"Mr. Johnson I bid you good bye here, good night." Saying that she stood up and walked towards the door.

"Tina wait...." she heard Tatiana's voice but continued walking out. she reached at the parking.

"Tina can I talk to you a little bit." Tatiana rushed forward and stood infront of her.

"Tina am sorry." Tatiana said softly.

"Sorry for what? you haven't done anything wrong." Tina replied coldly.

" I didn't listen to your words and went out, am sorry Tina, one last chance, just one." Tatiana was on verge of crying.

" It's your right to do what you want to do, I gave you the freedom back, you don't need a chance, and I don't want you near me." Tina said those cold words and pushed her out of the way, got into the Jeep and drove away.

Tatiana slumped down and cried bitterly.

"Don't leave me alone Tina, I will listen to you, I will do whatever you want." She cried out but she was already gone, she chased behind the Jeep, she fell down midway.
