"Ok!! Let's go, old man!" Sakuragi still mentioned Maki looking older than his age.

"Don't say it again, Maki!!" Akagi rushed to him.

"Huh 3x... How's it going over here" Aida just arrived from Ryonan's game and nine minutes left in the first half.

"Ah! Sakuragi!" Maki is fighting for the rebound w/ the red haired rookie.

"Give that rookie a taste of your strength!!" Kainan's bench shouted.

"Rookie Sakuragi is going one on one w/ Maki?" Aida thought that this rookie is not afraid of no one.

"Under the basket is my kingdom!!" Sakuragi said. Maki stood his ground against Sakuragi's lay-up under the basket.

"Good defense, Maki-senpai!!" Kainan's bench and fans were cheering loudly.

"Arg!! Wait for me old man!!" Sakuragi said.

"Jin!" Maki shouted and pass the ball across to the other court for a fast break.

The quickest among Shohoku players, Miyagi tried his best to stop him but the height disadvantage is too much and Jin shot comfortably beyond the arc.

"Swish!!" it went through the net and Kainan proved that they're the champion.

"Nice three! Jin-senpai!" Kiyota and Jin high fived, as they go back to defense and Kainan trailing by six points.

"Great shot, Jin-senpai!!" the bench and Kainan fans in the crowd.

"They're starting to catch up the score, Shohoku 29 vs. 23 Kainan" game announcer said.

Miyagi got the ball; he went to Sakuragi's side and talk about how to get his revenge.

"That old man is so annoying!! This genius has to pay him back twice of what he did!" Sakuragi eyes are on Maki's direction.

"Hey! Try that one we've been practicing last week, Hanamichi!!" Miyagi said.

"Ha 3x!!! I almost forgot that moved and thanks for the reminder, Ryota!" Sakuragi said.

"Even faced w/ Kainan's Maki, Sakuragi doesn't flinch at all and if it was some else, they would've already withdrawn from game..." Kogure said.

"That guy even challenged Akagi-senpai on the first of school! Maki is nothing to him at all, Kogure!" Ayako replied.

"I guess he's that type of guy..." Kogure said.

"Defense!" Kainan's bench and fans from the crowd were cheering loudly to get the players hype-up and overwhelmed the opponent w/ their cheering.

"Let me handle it! You don't need to personally defend this guy, Maki-senpai!" Kiyota stepped up for Maki's sake.

"Huh? What's this monkey talking about?!" Sakuragi said.

"However, me taking care of you might still be too much, Sakuragi!" Kiyota said.

"Yeah right, I might be too much for you to handle, wild monkey!'" Sakuragi said.

Ryota passed the mid-court, dribbled the ball steadily and raised his index finger for the play.

"Ok! Time for the payback!! Let's take this shot be counted! Hanamichi!!"Ryota faked his drive, stop his tracked and a no look pass to Sakuragi.

"Huh! I got it, Ryota!" Sakuragi said.

"Ok no. ten is mine!!" Kiyota

Sakuragi used back to protect the ball, he caught Kiyota off guard and w/ his explosive first step, he leaves Kiyota behind and scored a lay-up off the glass.

"Huh! What the heck?!" Kiyota said.

"Ahhh...!! You can't a genius like me!!!" Sakuragi shouted as he passes by Kiyota's side.

"Nice job, Hanamichi!" Miyagi and Sakuragi celebrated back to defense.

"Ryota!!!" Sakuragi said and they high fived.

"That was really was natural, Hanamichi!!" Miyagi said.

"I finally did it, Haruko-san" Sakuragi stopped his way to her.

"Great job, Sakuragi-kun!" Haruko replied.

"It looks like we'll have to stop this guy. Shoyo lost their game because of this unknown player..."Coach Riki Takato said.

"Shohoku 31 vs. 23 Kainan, the champs is trailing by eight points w/ nine minutes left in the first half." game announcer said.
