Shohoku comeback

"Pass it, Rukawa! Do you want to lose this chance to score?" Sakuragi, Miyagi and Mitsui are just running behind him.

"You can pass it to me and I'll be open on the left corner, Rukawa!" Mitsui said.

Three Shoyo players are waiting on the opposite court and ready to shrink the defense on him.

"That guy still wants to come even its three on one?!" one of the Shoyo player said.

"Don't be cocky, Rookie!!" one of the Shoyo player said.

After three steps, Rukawa drive his way to the hoop and triple teamed him.

"Blocked him!!" Hanagata shouted.

Rukawa squeeze his way in between of the Shoyo players, he lowers the ball and lays it in.

"What!"

"Who was that player?"

"Didn't know Shohoku has such player!!"

"He dodges the defense through the air!"

"It's no. eleven!" the crowd was discussing Rukawa's acrobatic play.

"Rukawa!!! 3x" his cheering squad is online again.

"They finally got one in!" Sakuragi's Gang said.

"This isn't your show! Rukawa" Sakuragi said.

"Good thing it went in, but why you didn't for us?" Miyagi said.

"You guys are too slow! Who am I going to pass the ball?" Rukawa said

"You're too cocky! Said by Sakuragi, Miyagi and Akagi. While, Mitsui and Rukawa are back on the defense.

"What are you guys doing! Hurry up and get back on D!" Kogure shouted.

Shohoku is coming back w/ some energy after Rukawa's showing off.

Hanagata got the ball again, he didn't waste any moves and shot another mid-range against Akagi.

Akagi swats the ball; his defense showed some hope but that the ball fall into the hands of Shoyo.

"Good block! Akagi!" Shohoku's bench finally got something to sheer on.

Sakuragi used same move, Miyagi got ball and three Shohoku players run for fast break.

"Saw that genius block, Rukawa?!" Sakuragi said.

"Show off!" Rukawa replied.

"Fast break! Run faster!" Miyagi shouted.

"Good block! Impressive!" Hikoichi said.

"I'll be waiting in the left corner for a pass, Miyagi!" Mitsui sweet spot is the left corner three and ready to shoot if open.

"Hahaha, See my block, and today, I'll score more than you! Rukawa! Oi Ryou-chi!! Pass me the ball!!" Sakuragi said.

Miyagi pass him the ball, it bounces off the glass and the finger roll was a fail and waste a chance to score.

"Stupid! Too much force!" Rukawa said. He tip in the ball and scored the second goal for Shohoku.

"This genius made another mistake..." Sakuragi said.

"Stupid! You need to stay calm, Sakuragi" Akagi said.

"Hanamichi! Was that a pass to Rukawa?" Sakuragi gang didn't miss to make fun of his mistake.

"Stop thinking about showing-off, we must stop their offense at all cost!" Miyagi said.

"Yeah!!" Shohoku members replied.

"Defense!!! 3x" Shohoku and fans cheers them up.

"Looks like Shohoku have gotten back their groove!" Hikoichi said.

"Yeah! The real game starts now; Rukawa was the one to break their scoring drought... even though he's a freshman but has a great influence on the game." Coach Taoka said.

"The height difference is too much!" the audience behind Hikoichi caught his attention.

"Huh! Miyagi..." Hikoichi said.

"It's really a mistake to use no. seven (Miyagi)! If Shoyo use that weakness, then victory is certain." the audiences said

"So annoying! Like they know it all!" Hikoichi said.

"Fweet! Shoyo traveling" referee said.

"Hurry and go in! Run faster!" Miyagi said.

"Itou!" playing coach Fujima said.

"Yes!!" he replied.

Seeing the defense of Shoyo closing in, Miyagi saw three Shohoku players and he made a no look to pass to Sakuragi.

This time Sakuragi is calm, he gently laid the ball and easily scored it.

"Go in!!' Sakuragi said.

"Ahh... it went in!" Haruko and Sakuragi gang said.

"It's better that before!" the audience said.

"Miyagi is small but also impressive! Hahaha! See that!" Hikoichi said.

"Must return the favor!!" a Shoyo player said.

Miyagi steals the ball off the hands of that player. Directing the play from the top of the perimeter.

"Awesome! Do your best, Miyagi!" Hikoichi said.

"His reflex is almost scary!"

"Even though, he's small but his very fast!!" the audience said.

"Good work! Play harder, Ryouta!!" looking back to her direction, Miyagi got distracted and scolded by Akagi.

"Ayako...." Miyagi said.

"Stupid! Don't get distracted..." Akagi receive a sudden pass from the looking stupidly Miyagi.

Miyagi got the ball back by hand off w/ Akagi and screened the defender to Hanagata.

He drives in between two Shoyo players, faking the shot to get closer to the basket and goes for a reverse lay-up.

"It went in!"

"Shohoku has caught w/in three points!"

"Nice lay-up!"

"No. seven, beautiful play!" the audience was captivated by Shohoku's comeback.

"He just traveled, Ref." a Shoyo player complained that it was a traveling violation.

"Nope" the referee saw it as a legal move, unless Miyagi landed on both feet and walk more steps.

"Shohoku 8 vs. 11 Shoyo is up only by three points and twelve minutes still remaining in the first half.

Miyagi pointed the direction of the playing coach Fujima. Provoking the opponents main point guard for a showdown.

"Fweet! Shoyo called a thirty seconds time out!!" game announcer said.

Back to Shohoku's bench, members handed them drinks, towels and high-fives.

"Ryouta was so good at fake!!" Yasuda said

"Shoyo has been pushed to the corner!!" Aota said.

"Our fighting spirit is the best!!" Kogure said.

"Didn't think that Shohoku had such good players!" a Shoyo supporter said.

"Good job, Miyagi Ryouta!" Ayako said.

"He he he!" feeling about the compliment of his crush.

"Try your best, Sakuragi!" Kogure said.

"Ha ha ha! Of course! Megane-kun!" Sakuragi said.

"You didn't do anything! Rukawa said.

"You're just jealous of this genius; I got two points and one block, Rukawa. Using me as a starter was the right choice, old man!" Sakuragi said.
