Indeed, any supernatural power user would find it difficult to adapt to the changes in their social role after the initial awakening.

Take for example a butcher who suddenly awakens to a healing special ability. After healing someone's wounds, he's likely to reflexively consider whether he should dismember a femur to sell, perhaps to make a nutritious soup for them—such a fine femur!

Logically, there's nothing wrong with that line of thought, given that skinning and butchering are part of his professional habits.

But in reality, such an idea is utterly perverse and anti-human.
