Chapter 6: Important Decision

Shizuka was pacing around in her room biting her nail in suspense of what was about to happen all depending on Sabrina. At this point, I'd honestly just rather have Gwen shut it all down when I tik her initially. Because I haven't felt this scared in a while, come on Brina. I know we just met today but pull through girl.

Eventually, a knock could be heard on the door which made Shizuka gulp.

"Y-Yes?"

A male butler could be heard stating.

"Master Shizuka, Gwendolyn would like you to come to her room. She said to be quick about it."

Shizuka was visibly sweating when she came to the door and quickly began walking down the hallway, with a shadow covering her eyes. Nervous wasn't the word to describe how Shizuka was feeling, her entire body felt heavy as she walked forward. I can't breathe.

Shizuka arrived at a door which she opened after a moment's hesitation where she saw Gwendolyn and Sabrina sitting on her bed. Good God, I really can't breathe. Gwendolyn instructed with a firm tone.

"Have a seat next to me."

Shizuka quickly nodded her head before sitting next to Gwendolyn who was taller than both of the teenage girls. Gwendolyn lectured.

"Shizuka, do you want to know what I asked young Sabrina?"

Shizuka answered.

"Yes ma'am."

Gwendolyn stood up leaving a space between Shizuka and Sabrina who both looked up in shock as she spoke.

"I asked her what made her interested in you, what attracted her to you. And she gave a simple answer."

"You remind her of herself in more ways than one."

Shizuka blushed slightly around her cheeks when she disagreed.

"No offense, but I'm not like you."

Sabrina smiled when she further explained.

"Well of course you're not, you are different than me. The way you stood up to those bullies showed your bravery which is something I don't have much of. You speak your mind all the time while I just keep my thoughts in my head."

"But my point was you remind me of me because those are all things I secretly want to be. I consider you to be my role model."

Shizuka blushed even harder when she stood up when she objected.

"Hey hey hey, don't go around calling me your freaking role model. We're the same age."

Gwendolyn smiled while Sabrina could be heard questioning.

"So? What does age have to with it?"

Gwendolyn cleared her throat interrupting their conservation to announce.

"Anyway, I've made my decision. Shizuka you may continue going to school as long as you continue to be friends with Sabrina."

Sabrina hugged Shizuka while cheering.

"Isn't that such a fair deal?! You were right Ms.Gwendolyn is super cool, now I see why you like her so much."

Gwendolyn raised an eyebrow with a smug smirk on her face which made Shizuka grunt as she started pulling on Sabrina's ear while scolding.

"You talk way too much you know that?"

Gwendolyn walked towards the door while announcing.

"Sabrina you are welcome to have dinner with us if you'd like, you can enjoy your stay as long as you want. And one more thing."

Sabrina asked.

"Yes ma'am?"

Gwendolyn was turned around so that her tears of joy could not be seen when she thanked her.

"I'm really glad you two met today, thank you."

Gwendolyn walked out of the room leaving Sabrina and Shizuka alone in the room where they looked at each other with smiles. The two started cheering happily while dancing around the room. I've never been this happy in so long, ever since . . . Nevermind I won't spoil my happiness for once.

Shizuka insisted.

"Hey come over to my room, I've never shown anyone my room before."

Sabrina giggled.

"I've never been offered before, let's go!"

The two quickly ran out of the room and into the room while Gwendolyn watched from the lower floor. It's been a long time since I've seen Shizuka smiled, a genuine one at least. When she's happy so am I.

Sabrina was observing the room completely astonished as Shizuka sat on her bed while bragging.

"Yeah yeah, I know it's totally awesome."

Sabrina praised.

"It really is, it's so big. And you've got all of your favorite stuff everywhere, it really is amazing."

Shizuka raised an eyebrow when she asked.

"What is your room not like this or something?"

Sabrina shook her head when she answered.

"No it is but, technically it's not my room. You see my house isn't all too big so my Dad gave me his room. But he sleeps on the couch so I just wondered if . . . He missed having a real room to himself."

Shizuka reassured.

"Your Dad seems like a humble guy from everything you've told me about him. I'm sure he's rather have you comfy than have a big room. I wouldn't sweat it."

Sabrina had already let it slip her mind when she opened a drawer while questioning.

"I knew you were a tomboy but you only wear boxers?"

Shizuka blushed when she replied.

"Y-Yeah, they're way more comfortable if you ask me. But you wouldn't know about it."

Sabrina grabbed a pair while asking.

"Well can I try a pair on real fast?"

Shizuka looked away blushing harder when she stated.

"I mean you already have 'em on, might as well."

Sabrina smiled as she began undressing off screen as she could be heard mentioning.

"Hmm, these actually really are comfy. They're a bit big on me though, must be because you have a bigger butt than me."

Shizuka objected.

"Hey, it's not my fault! Take 'em off if you're gonna complain."

Shizuka was standing next to Gwendolyn who instructed.

"Remember, if you want to stop by you're always more than welcome. Just knock and I'll make Shizuka get the door."

Sabrina laughed.

"Okay, will do. I'm really grateful that you let Shizuka continue going to school. I'll make sure nothing bad happens to her, I promise."

Shizuka smirked when she scoffed.

"I won't need your help heh."

Gwendolyn acknowledged.

"Great to hear, I hope we didn't take too much time out of your day. Have a nice night."

Sabrina nodded her head before skipping away towards the woods while Gwendolyn remarked.

"You actually looked like a girl today."

Shizuka denied.

"Yeah whatever."

My life was finally back ontop of the world, with Sabrina as my friend I feel more accepted somehow. Now there's no way I can mess this up!
