Larissa's POV

I found myself in the sterile, clinical atmosphere of the hospital where we had arranged to meet Lucia for the procedure to remove the baby. I sat anxiously in the reception area, my gaze fixed on the entrance, waiting for Lucia's arrival. The minutes stretched into what felt like hours as I waited, my unease growing with every passing second.

Then, Lucia appeared. She walked in with a disturbing, unsettling presence—her hands were drenched in blood, the viscous fluid pooling in thick, honey-like droplets that dripped from her fingers. My stomach churned as I noticed her belly, which was also stained with blood, the crimson hue seeping through her clothes.

My heart raced, a mixture of anger, confusion, and a rising tide of tears. I stood up and approached her, my voice trembling as I demanded, "What did you do?"
