Warmth
After what seemed like an eternity, I finally stop crying. I know my eyes and nose are probably super red and puffy but I don't care. My Mother and Father also hold me tight and I suddenly feel like dying wouldn't be all that bad. "Why is Maya here?" My Father turns to ask Leo.
I may have gotten a lot of my looks from my beautiful Mother but I can see I'm more like my father in personality. My Mother is very timid and reserved whereas my Father was the take-charge kind, much like his Father, my Gramps.
Leo repeats the same thing he said to my Mother without a change in expression. My Father and Gramps share a look before my Father says "Since she's not from this world she shouldn't have to play by your rules right?"
