More People, More Problems
I look back to the large window when I hear an incoming call. "Answer," I say as I stand up. "Hey Maya, I have a woman here by the name of... What's your name again? Carli... She says she's a Doctor and wants to speak to you..." Ace says on the other side of the line.
I frown and say "What kind of Doctor?" Ace sighs and asks the woman. He comes back and says "She's a biochemist... or so she says." My frown instantly disappears as I say "I'll be right there." I end the call and shift to the gate.
The gate was the main entrance into the City and that's where Ace currently was. I shift in and walk straight to the open gate filled with a large number of people trying to enter the City. I see a small woman standing next to a bored-looking Ace as she crosses her arms and taps her foot.
