SANTIAGO STOOD IN FRONT OF ME.

He didn't look like how I was expecting him to. In my head, I had imagined something horrific and monster-like, the kind of things you would only see on television. Yet, the young man standing across from me didn't fit any of those descriptions.

He had the kind of face that would make me stop and stare if he had passed me on the street. His slightly golden-olive toned skin made it seem like he had spent hours outside in the sun. His dark chocolate coloured eyes complimented his complexion. I knew a lot of girls who would melt from just one glance by him. He was slim but muscular, with an almost perfectly symmetrical face.

"You must be Isla," he finally spoke after a silent moment, "I must say it's a pleasure to finally meet you. I've heard a lot about you."
