45. Suicide

Hoseki watched as Hiruzen left his house.

Seeing Hiruzen bowed down as he asking for forgiveness, Hoseki was shocked. As a leader of the village, Hiruzen was hold on highest position in the village. To bow down and ask for forgiveness was a damaged to his reputation as hokage. But, he still did it to show his regretful of what had happened.

"You should say your sorry to uncle, not me." Hoseki mumbled alone. While Hoseki still didn't satisfied with the answers, he really can't hate Hiruzen for what had happened.

That evening Sakumo came to meet Hoseki.

Seeing Sakumo enter the door, Hoseki relieved knowing nothing had happened to his uncle yet.

"Uncle. " Hoseki greet his uncle.

Sakumo walk and sat on the cushion.

After a short moments, a high voice came out from Sakumo mouth.

From outside, one can heard Sakumo was berating Hoseki for his recklessness.

Then the situation calm down and Hoseki and Sakumo start to talk to each other about the situation after the rumours and Hoseki action.

After a few hours taking Hoseki, Sakumo decided to leave.

He sat up and look towards Hoseki.

" Hoseki, remember this. Your value doesn't decrease based on someone inability to see your worth. A good shinobi will hold to his principles no matter what surrounding think of him. That was also a creed as a Shinobi." Sakumo said before leaving Hoseki in his house.

After he close the door, Hoseki sat down in deep thought.

As he had been talking with Sakumo, he could see Sakumo was still in good state. Psychologically. He didn't look like someone who will suicide anytime soon.

Someone who in that kind of state will attempted to suicide?

As much as Hoseki wanted to believe his 'memories', he can't find the reason why would committed suicide because of these situation.

However, deep inside of him, Hoseki somehow felt uneasy about Sakumo.

Night came as Hoseki had decided to visit his uncle secretly. He decided to stop Sakumo if his uncle suddenly decided to do something he should not to.

Hoseki left a shadow clone in blanket and went out secretly. He bypassed two or three anbu who were guarding his house.

Hoseki sneaked into Sakumo's house and spying on his uncle.

He waited all night as he found out nothing had happened to Sakumo.

Hoseki returned to his house in the morning.

While nothing had happened to his uncle last night, Hoseki felt his heart was still beating hard as he felt uneasy again and again.

On the third night, Hoseki kept spying on his uncle.

Even after visiting Sakumo in secret for two nights, his anxiousness won't go away.

Hoseki had planned to stay on Sakumo house temporarily if he get release later on. For now, he will keep spying like this for awhile.

As Hoseki was sleepy, he asked Draco to keep its eyes on Sakumo while he took a shot nap.

Late at night, Hoseki was woke up by Draco and asked to see his uncle.

Hoseki look at his uncle and saw Sakumo was breathing heavily.

As he wanted to ask Draco of what had happened, Sakumo suddenly shout.

"Who? "

Hoseki was startled. He wondered if Sakumo had found him.

As Hoseki was wondering, a laugh was heard in Sakumo's room.

" Hihihi, so you had felt it? The poison should had attack the bone. You will be paralize after that. And your organ will deteriorate faster as they won't stop functioning not long after that. When that happen, you will die peacefully."

"Don't worry. People wouldn't find you to be killed. You will be found dying in suicide. Hehehe. " A figure suddenly rised from the floor as he was laughing.

" Who are you? Why are you doing this? Which village send you?" Sakumo shouted out on top of his lung.

"Now now. No need to shout out like that. No one will heard you. I had seal this room as nothing will come in or go out until you are dead."

"Let me introduced my self first. I am zetsu. I was sent by Uchiha Madara. "

Sakumo widely opened his eye in shock. He tried to speak but failed.

Zetsu look at Sakumo and gave him a nasty smile.

" You could not speak anymore do you? Don't worry. You would not live for long afterall. This great poison will take your life in a few stages. The moment you felt it, you already second stage."

"Then stage three will begin as you are being paralyzed like you had felt now. Your ability to speak will be taken like you are now. Then it will go to your eyes and you will be blind. Next will be your ears as you wouldn't heard anything anymore."

"After that it will attack your heart and you will stop breathing and with that, the brain will stop functioning. Finally you will die."

As Zetsu was speaking, Hoseki watched and heard Zetsu words gravely. He was about to go but was stopped by Draco.

"Stop, Hoseki. If you don't have the antidote, you can't save your uncle any longer. I can feel that the dreadful poison is not something you can handle your own."

"And there is that man. As we don't even know how strong he is, we need to careful with our action." Draco said.

(A/N : Draco was talking with Hoseki telepathically. As he was not in his real form, he can't talk when he was a bakugan.)

"So, want me to see uncle die like that Draco? Hoseki roared into Draco's mind.

"Even if you fight that guy over there, you are only stalling time for your uncle death. Unless you can solve the poison, you will only waste your efforts and might even kill yourself in the process." Draco warned him.

Hearing him, Hoseki snap out of his rage. He immediately racked his brain out to think a solution.

He opened his storage and tried to find anything that can be a help for him.

After short scanning. He suddenly look sharp on an item. He saw something that can a be a hope to him.

Hoseki took out the item and see its description.

Death pills.
