The concept of Wang Feng's healing ability was indeed uncommon to most, especially in a world where auxiliary soul masters typically focused on enhancing their allies rather than healing them. Dai Mubai, in particular, was also taken aback by the sudden revelation that Wang Feng possessed a healing ability.

Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing also found this revelation unusual as they were aware that healing system auxiliary soul masters were a rarity. Real healing martial souls were considered precious assets and their abilities were highly sought after in the world of soul masters.

Wang Feng's unique martial soul, which could switch between restoring soul power and providing healing support based on his mood, was a novelty that caught everyone off guard.

As the team prepared for their upcoming battle, Wang Feng's motivation to showcase his healing ability was fueled by the desire to prevent his teammates from suffering severe injuries. He remembered how, in the original storyline, Zhu Zhuqing, Xiao Wu and Tang San had sustained injuries during this very test and he hoped to change their outcome with his healing power.

With their preparations complete and Wang Feng's healing ability at their disposal, they awaited the start of the battle with a newfound sense of confidence.

In the past five years, Wang Feng had indeed maintained good control over his abilities, avoiding any serious injuries. However, his explanation of his martial soul's powers left his teammates surprised and intrigued. The idea that his abilities could change based on his emotions was both fascinating and mysterious to them.

As the conversation shifted towards preparing for their battle, Tang San took the lead in formulating a combat plan. Their strategy was simple yet effective, with each team member assigned a specific role that played to their strengths. They discussed their approach and readied themselves for the upcoming test.

As the incense neared its end, Zhao Wuji, their opponent, inserted another incense stick into the ground, signaling the start of the test. On the other side, Ning Rongrong immediately activated her Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda martial soul, enhancing her teammates' power and speed. The three felt invigorated and ready for action.

However, Zhao Wuji wasted no time in launching an attack, targeting Ning Rongrong first. Tang San reacted quickly, using his Blue Silver Grass to restrain Zhao Wuji and diverted his attention away from Ning Rongrong. The battle had begun in earnest and the team was about to face the challenge of a formidable opponent.

Zhao Wuji's aggressive charge towards Wang Feng, instead of Ning Rongrong, took everyone by surprise. Wang Feng, while initially puzzled by this turn of events, quickly activated his martial soul, the Golden Lotus as a burst of golden light shot forth and enveloped Zhao Wuji. This unexpected move left everyone bewildered.

However, the effects were immediately evident. Zhao Wuji's advance turned into a stumbling retreat as he found himself unable to control his body. This sudden sensation of overwhelming comfort had made him temporarily lose his fighting spirit. With great effort, he managed to regain control of himself and stepped away from Wang Feng with a suspicious and wary look.

Zhao Wuji couldn't understand what had just happened. He accused Wang Feng of using some strange soul skill/ability that left him in this peculiar state. Wang Feng calmly explained that he had used his healing ability but with a twist—when used on enemies, it had a side effect. Wang Feng then playfully suggested that Zhao Wuji try more of it.

This revelation left everyone amazed. Wang Feng's unique healing ability had a dual function, it could heal allies and disorient enemies. The idea of having such a versatile healing soul master on their team excited them and they realized the tactical advantage of this ability.

Zhao Wuji, though still suspicious, couldn't deny that Wang Feng's ability was indeed extraordinary. As the battle continued, they all had much to learn about this enigmatic and powerful auxiliary soul master.

Seeing Zhao Wuji seemingly lost in thought, Wang Feng yelled, "Get moving! What are you all waiting for?"

His shout jolted everyone into action. Leading the charge, Xiao Wu sprinted towards Zhao Wuiji, leaping into the air with remarkable agility. A well-timed vine, courtesy of Tang San's Blue Silver Grass, extended beneath her, providing a graceful assist.

Balancing on the vine, Xiao Wu contorted it into a makeshift bow and then shot like an arrow toward Zhao Wuji. Wang Feng, having skillfully dodged Zhao Wuji, rejoined the fray. Their intention was very clear, they were attacking with all their might.

However, Zhao Wuji remained unfazed, wearing only a faint smile as Xiao Wu approached. He made no attempt to evade or defend himself, standing as still as a mountain, almost as if inviting her to attack. This puzzled Xiao Wu but she didn't hesitate. In mid-air, she executed a martial arts move as her legs poised like a pair of scissors and aimed a precise strike at Zhao Wuji's neck.

Bang! Bang!

Two muffled thuds echoed through the arena. Xiao Wu's strike, with the force to snap an ordinary tree, landed squarely on Zao Wou-ki's shoulders, yet it barely seemed to faze him. It didn't even budge him from his place.

"Good teamwork and speed." Zhao Wuji remarked calmly, not showing any hint of discomfort.

"But, little rabbit, your strength simply isn't enough."

Xiao Wu remained silent but frowned, still poised above him. That's when vines sprouted from beneath Zhao Wuji's feet, swiftly ensnaring him. The toxins in the vines numbed his legs instantly. Then, just as abruptly as they appeared, the vines vanished, leaving Zhao Wuji suspended in mid-air with no support. Xiao Wu's legs were still locked around his shoulders.

"Arch!" Xiao Wu commanded.

In response, two vines sprang forth from beneath her hands as she grasped them and bent her body into an acute curve.

Xiao Wu's feet pivoted, capitalizing on Zhao Wuji's mid-air vulnerability. With the combined strength of her legs and the support of the vine, she sent Zhao Wuji hurtling downward.

Impressed, Zhao Wuji exclaimed, "You're quite the team! This level of coordination would take many people years to develop."

He had no idea just how extensively Tang San, Xiao Wu and Wang Feng had trained together.

As Zhao Wuji prepared to land, he attempted to cushion the fall with his hands, so it wouldn't be too jarring. But just as he spread his arms, a phantom figure appeared behind him, seemingly out of thin air as if a ghost.

It was Zhu Zhuqing!

Ding! Ding! Ding!

A barrage of strikes followed, forcing Zhao Wuji to twist his body and unleash his soul power. His seven soul rings also lit up simultaneously, defending against Zhu Zhuqing's sudden attack from behind. With no hands to break his fall, Zhao Wuji had no choice but to crash into the ground, creating a resounding explosion.

With grace, Zhu Zhuqing leaped away from his back just before impact, perfectly timed with Tang San and Xiao Wu's maneuvers.

The ground shook upon Zhao Wuji's landing, kicking up a cloud of dust and the three of them fixed their gaze on the impact site.

"Brother, will he be okay?" Xiao Wu asked anxiously.

Tang San shook his head, "It's not that simple."

Zhu Zhuqing, still possessing her martial soul, watched from a distance, her eyes glowing dark purple, her claws gleaming like sharp blades.

Wang Feng, standing by, decided not to intervene. He knew that this battle wouldn't be over so easily and the trio wasn't also going down without a fight.

As the dust settled down, Zhao Wuji pushed himself up from the ground, his head having been buried in there like a carrot. He casually dusted himself off and stood up, catching the trio of Tang San, Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing by surprise.

It suddenly hit them and Dai Mubai's earlier warning became crystal clear. Even if they had their teacher, Zhao Wuji, stationary and taking their hits, it would be a herculean task to inflict any damage to him. These three young soul masters, all under level thirty, were up against Zhao Wuji, a Soul Saint beyond level seventy.

Now, Zhao Wuji stood before them, exuding an intimidating aura. He had also powered up, towering at an impressive 2.5 metres. His body was cloaked in goldenish brown bear fur, as the phantom of Vajra Bear appeared behind him.

"Uh-oh, it looks like teacher Zhao's about to unleash his soul power and skills." Dai Mubai muttered under his breath.

Their previous victory had been due to Zhao Wuji holding back and some clever teamwork. But even then, they couldn't harm him. Now, Zhao Wuji's soul power surged, his demeanor exuding heavy dominance. It was clear that Tang San, Xiao Wu and the others were in for a more serious bout.

Zhao Wuji spoke solemnly, "The weather's just right today and I'm feeling less drowsy now."

Zhao Wuji bellowed, "Bring it on, I'm not sleepy anymore. Show me what you've got, brats!!"

With determination, Zhao Wuji advanced towards Tang San, one step at a time. He noticed their synergy, particularly Xiao Wu's use of the Blue Silver Grass, which he deemed problematic somewhat problematic. If he neutralized her, the trio's offensive would crumble instantly.

"Xiao Wu!" Tang San called out.

In response, Xiao Wu leaped from Tang San's shoulder, springing high into the air. Zhao Wuji sneered, thinking the same moves wouldn't work on him twice. He also leaped after her as Tang San's vines swiftly encircled Xiao Wu, transforming her trajectory in mid-air.

It appeared as if a hammer hung from the vine's tip, altering Xiao Wu's arc dramatically, sending her crashing towards Zhao Wuji sideways—a technique they referred to as the "Meteor Hammer," a product of Tang San and Xiao Wu's synergy.

However, this attack had limited impact on Zhao Wuji's impervious defenses. It merely staggered him briefly, without causing any significant harm.

At that moment, another figure, moving with incredible speed, struck Zhao Wuji from the behind—Zhu Zhuqing. She moved like a blur, creating afterimages one after the other. Amidst the afterimages, countless chilling lights flickered.

These were the manifestations of her second soul ability, Hell Hundred Claws. In mere moments, she executed hundreds of attacks, targeting the same vulnerable spot on Zhao Wuji's body.

This relentless assault pushed Zhao Wuji to his limits. Two seconds later, his eyes gleamed gold as he unleashed his first yellow soul ring.

He roared in anger, releasing a golden light. The shockwave sent Zhu Zhuqing reeling, blood spewing from her mouth as her vision blurred. Xiao Wu's while striking also coughed blood too, rupturing the vines that supported her.

Even Tang San felt his blood churn, experiencing extreme discomfort. He immediately reconfigured his Blue Silver Grass, grabbing Xiao Wu and pulling her into his arms.

Zhao Wuji first soul ability had obliterated their coordinated offense instantly. This was the power of a seventy-sixth-level Soul Saint.

Zhao Wuji hand then swiped towards Tang San's location. At the last moment, Xiao Wu regained partial consciousness, her eyes flashing with a hint of bloodlust as she locked eyes with him.

"Huh? A charm type soul ability?" Zhao Wuji was taken aback but met her gaze without fear. In an instant, their eyes connected and Xiao Wu passed out. Tang San, anticipating this, swiftly moved, narrowly evading Zhao Wuji's strike.

Zhao Wuji chose not to pursue further.

"Xiao Wu, Xiao Wu!" Tang San cried out worriedly but she didn't reply and remained unconscious. At the same time, Dai Mubai collected Zhu Zhuqing, his expression grim. She had also fainted.

"Don't worry, they're okay." Zhao Wuji reassured.

"It's just the backlash of her own charm soul ability. Her soul power is far below mine and my Vajra Bear martial soul has unique attributes. A night's rest should heal them completely."

Zhao Wuji continued, "I suppose I won't need to fight anymore than. Even with that girl from the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda clan, you won't last through my incense stick's burning time."

But as Zhao Wuji spoke, three golden beams of light suddenly descended from the sky, bathing Xiao Wu, Tang San and Zhu Zhuqing in their glow.

The entire area fell into silence.

Almost immediately after, Xiao Wu's voice rang out, "Hey, you're hugging me too tightly. I'm fine but it felt so warm and comfy."

In that moment, the clearing fell utterly quiet.
