Chapter 2: After School

4:42 PM

It was passed school hours, however I stay because Mora pushed her after school errands to me. Cleaning the class, organizing papers from different clubs and many other things. This been happening for a few weeks. Whenever I asked her why she wasn't doing it, she'll would respond carelessly.

"I going on a date later with a hottie, and I can't be late for. So you have to do my work for me." that's what Mora said to me.

It's annoying, so why?

Why didn't I refused her?

Why bother putting up with it?

It was simple.

I wrote a list of all the things she has been telling to do as her "errand girl". I spoke with the clubs leaders in plain staking details of Mora's absence. I also have consoled with students who were victimized by Mora as well.

I did all this so Mora's so-called image as the innocently smart girl turned into burned up ashes.

I have five weeks worth of evidence and have over twenty people to stand as witnesses. With that, it won't matter how much Mora will attempt to struggle.

She will fall...

But while I walked passed the gymnasium, I saw Mora running with tear filled face. I didn't realize what she was doing until she hid behind me.

"PLEASE SAVE ME! I DON'T WANNA TO DIE!" Mora screamed into my ear.

"What are you on about? Did your boyfriend got mad at you or something?" I groaned in agitated tone.

I really didn't had the energy for anything of Mora's schemes. But by the way how hard she clinched onto my shoulder, and the fact she was literally trembling. I had to assume that Mora wasn't lying.

"Please... save me. DON'T LET HIM KILL ME!" Mora screamed again.

Him?

Whose him?

Who did she meant by him?

Her boyfriend maybe?

I soon found out when I felt a unsettling presence. I scanned my surroundings, but I saw no one else around. But I couldn't give rid off the feeling that I was closely monitored. I held onto Mora's arm and lead her trembling body towards the front of the school until I froze.

It was 4:55 PM passed school hours...

So why was the school's gate was wide open?

In front of the opened gates were a broken chain, which made it clear that someone else in the school besides me and Mora.

If the chain were broken, that would mean this person must've been armed with pliers or bolt cutters since both of those things are cable breaking chains. But that only leaves with one scary question.

Why would anyone break the chain from the school gate and leave it wide open?

If they were sneaking in, they would at least close it to lack suspicion. No, if that was the case, why would they need the pliers if they could simply climb over the school wall.

Was it a teacher? No, a teacher would have a unlocked the chain instead of breaking it.

It doesn't make sense, why was the gate open?

My thoughts were immediately cut short from a voice that was soothing yet unsettling.

"I... found... you~"
