Running through all the given information first, Linley understood that he could increase his own skills, abilities and foundation since he had a reference to pave his path, especially because he wasn't the revenge filled rage machine that was the original. Remove the Main Character Perk from him and he would have died before he could yell 'Demigod'!

He then decided that he would add the amplifiers to the [Essence of the Earth] and [Throbbing Pulse of The World] most of the time, and change it to [Essence of Wind] and [Essence of Fire] while resting or studying. He was sure that his skill in the Earth Element would rise the fastest since he had a private Saint- level tutor.

"Well done, Linley! You had delved so deep into your meditation that you had directly jumped to the level of a Rank 1 Mage! I forgot to point out that you don't need to train your spiritual energy at all to reach rank 3, but I would not advise on it! you should develop a habit of exercising your mental energy if you want to become an outstanding Mage!"

The man was a very dedicated teacher, Linley judged due to the carrot and stick trick he just pulled. And he was right too, Linley wasn't going to sit around and take the gifts he had received for granted. Death comes in the most bizarre of ways in cultivation worlds. Heck, he nearly died yesterday as collateral damage!

"Of Course Grandpa! I NEED to become a great mage to help my family...My father has a lot of problems now and our family is weak, so there is no quarter for slacking off for me!"

Linley put more emotion into those words than he thought he had in him. He was another person altogether, but he now had a family and a bright future now, and paying that debt and loving his family was a double victory for him. There would be no close calls and no hunting his close ones because Linley would make sure they won't get close to HIS family! (Ignore the F&F vibes...Please.)

"Of course, young one... I am not questioning your determination. Be ready to train hard so that you accomplish what you seek."

In the following days, Linley and Grandpa Gandalf-cosplayer went to the woods near the town to study and experiment with Earth elemental magic and condense his mage-force. At the same time he was keeping up with his warrior training and general studies which was taught by Uncle Hillman and his father respectively.

Uncle Hillman was a strong candidate for his Growth correction skill, as the man was trained up all the way to reach Rank 6 without any Qi manual. Linley scanned him the first chance he got.

Linley added the growth correction point to him and then checked if anything changed.

He knew the system could awaken Hillman's original potential, which was lost when Hillman went past his golden training period. This, along with Hillman's ridiculous work routine was what led to his increase in potential.

Linley had to double check when he saw his father's current potential. The man's base was ridiculously high. To put it in perspective, The 1st Dragonblood Warrior, Baruch would only be a God when the original Linley reached the Bloodridge Continent nearly a millennia into the future. If he add the GC, it would only lead to Hogg's physique reaching Rank 7 faster. The Radiant Church would try to get their grimy little hands on Hogg, which Linley wished to avoid.

Linley then used both of the other GC points on himself under physical development and then checked his stats

'Thank you, system. Now I know what laws I need to focus on and what new laws I need to comprehend. Also, being a mage is the perfect cover.'

There won't be any problems If he trained his muscles until he gained near perfect control over it, and his father and uncle Hillman had that kind of ability. If he reached level 6 in any fighting skill, he would gain that ability. With it, he could limit his power, and no one could detect it unless a high level Warrior was seriously checking.

Like this, Linley's days went on.
