A shrilling scream escaped Sara’s throat, I knew it was Sara because she was the only other girl here and that scream was coming from a girl.

My heart was pounding in my chest before I even got to see what she was screaming but I ran up the stairs as fast as my legs could take me, me and Jesse made it to the room at the same time, finding Sara stood in front of the bed, I didn’t need to take a look properly to know what she was looking at because I could see the dried up blood everywhere, splattered on the walls near the bed and all over the bed, I slowly walked closer, my eyes searching for the source of the blood even though I already knew what it was or more, who it was.

His throat slit, he laid there completely lifeless, completely pale and cold. It was almost like a nightmare, like it wasn’t real.
