6. What Your Name?

Shadow asked while scratching her head. "How is that important to you?" She asked again.

Lucas pulled his gun's trigger, making Shadow shoot first and hitting the man's arm. Everyone became wary, especially since Shadow shot him with a straight face. No one knows her identity, which makes them alert.

Shadow drew closer to Lucas, then crouched down, her eyes fixed on the gray-haired man.

Shut up. I don't want to shoot you. If you listen, I definitely won't shoot you, "Shadow said as she tied Lucas up. "You'd better not move," she said again, giving the man acupuncture so that not much of his blood would come out.

One of her specialties is acupuncture. She has studied this for a long time, so it's no wonder that she has mastered it.

She explained that if you want to live, you should stop talking.

Lucas could only watch what was happening in front of him. Now he fully understands why the woman he had been with earlier was so good at gambling. When it comes to gambling, no one can beat Shadow.

Several people had sprung up with weapons, making Shadow's knife fly in the air, hitting the thighs of a few of them. Then, a gunshot can be heard coming from Shadow's weapon.

"Don't be too confident," Shadow said coldly. So did Lucas. "I just don't like it when my prey is snatched by other people," Shadow explained, making the old man roll his eyes.

Now Lucas finally understands. Her target is the man that he is protecting. Does that mean that the reason Shadow approached him was because of this?

Shadow's footsteps started to get closer to the old man. The knife in her hand made him scared, and he tried to run away, but he couldn't do it because his leg was shot.

Shadow approached him, then crouched down and tied him. Without pity, she immediately took out a bullet that was in the man's thigh, making him feel excruciating pain.

Now she's back with Lucas. She took off the rope that was tying him. "Be quiet, I'll get the bullet out."

Lucas only nodded. He paid attention to what Shadow was doing while looking closely at the beautiful face of the woman who was an international fugitive.

"It might hurt," Shadow said, starting to slice the skin on Lucas' stomach. Luckily, the bullet didn't penetrate your internal organs because your muscles are quite hard," Shadow said, removing the bullet from Lucas' left stomach.

"Why didn't you kill me?" Lucas asked Shadow to look at him.

"I won't kill people who aren't my targets. They just got hurt, and I only sedated them for six hours. The man you are escorting should be my target. But I'll let you take care of him because you are a spy. Don't let him get out, or I will kill him. " Shadow said. "I'm helping you because you are my lover tonight," she said again as she finished the stitches.

"What's your name?" Holding Shadow's hand, Lucas asked.

"Just call me Shadow. "Assassin Shadow," Shadow said, showing the weapon that has her pseudonym engraved on it. "You'll recognize me if I take out this weapon," Shadow said, smiling.
