I was out. I couldn’t believe that she thought I did something to her.
I received a call from Alex.
“Hey?”
“Hey Robert. Can we meet somewhere?”
“Okay. At my house?”
“Hm yeah”
The call ended and I sighed. Did she tell him that I told something to Summer?
Anyway, I reached my house and went inside and waited for Alex. Suddenly Hailey doesn’t wanna be with me. Isn’t that weird?
The doorbell rang and I went out. Alex entered.
“Hey” I wished him.
“Hm… uh, did you tell Summer anything?”
So I was right. Somehow he knows it.
“Well… I had to…”
“You knew it would affect her adversely. That’s why I did it all in the first place!” he looked agitated.
“Uh, calm down”
“What calm down?” He seemed to laugh. “I mean, you almost killed her!”
“I-- I just couldn’t see her misunderstand you! I mean… really”
He sighed. “I know your intentions were good. But she-- she could have died or lost the child…”
