We made it out and let Cane’s dedicated team members clear the mess up. No one knew that there was someone who looked like Robert: and no one ever will.
I was excited to meet Robert and Hailey to tell them the good news, but I couldn’t go there. Even if I was not on the records for the most of my life, I did have a death certificate.
I just messaged Hailey. “I killed John. Let Robert know and yeah… when you two get well, let me know. I want you to visit me.”
I smiled thinking of how happy they would be.
After a few minutes, she replied. “OMG REALLY, MAX!?”
“Yes, Mrs. Hailey :)”
“Oh God… thank… thank you so much!”
“Thank me by visiting me with Robert. Don’t come alone, he would kill me. But come soon.”
“Haha, we will.”

I reached Summer’s house and took a deep breath before ringing the doorbell. She opened the door and gasped on seeing me.
“Alex!!” She yelled and hugged me. “Oh God, I missed you!”
