I was walking out of the hospital, dejected and scared. I didn’t know that she would ever hate me again.
“I told you, it was not gonna work…” Alex told me. “She needs her time”
“I can’t even be with her in her hard times!” I looked at him. “Do you know how that feels?”
“I know! Just calm down…”
“She… she is never gonna be the same! She thinks… I was the one… who tried that…”
“You look the same. When she gets her senses, she will know that you are you and he was he”
“She…” I sighed. “It hurts to see her hate me”
“I know. But she doesn’t hate YOU. She hates HIM”
“But she is hating me!”
“because she thinks that you are him!”
I sighed. “Alex, you’re not helping!”
“What should I do?” He sighed too. “I know that you’re right but I can't make things better. I can’t make her believe that you and he are different”
I nodded. “I know. I just… want this to pass fast”
