I have been here since that fucking building collapsed on me. Obviously, it couldn’t kill me, but it hurt like a motherfucker. I came here to get my strength back. I hate myself right now. I feel like I have lost Willow, and somehow, I know it’s for the best. I’m no good for her. I am the one who put her life in danger. I wanted her so badly, and my selfish pride almost killed her. By the time I noticed that she was in danger, it was too late. I could have easily made it out of there, but I had to know that she made it out safely. I watched until the dragon prince cleared the hole in the roof of the building. I never thought I would be thankful for a fucking dragon, but damn it, if Brax wasn’t there to fly her out she wouldn’t have made it. I haven’t spoken to Willow since that night. The only thing keeping me going is the fact that I heard her screams and cries for me as the building crashed down around me.
