Chapter 6

Early in the morning, shouts all over the island can be heard "Prepare the ship! We'll sail and bury those maggots in the bottom of the sea!" Amir shouted

"Aye!"

"Aye!"

Raul stayed on Amir's right as he overseer the situation, it seems that Amir has the power to boost the confidence of his people, of course, Raul knows about it but he couldn't deny that Amir is a very good leader.

"Let's move on!" Amir shouted

As everyone went into the ship Raul stayed behind for a little while as he waved at the villager, he saw grandma Pina waving at him as well as the others, he also saw Mary smiling at him as she waves her hand and gestured "Be safe!"

Raul laughed it off as he entered the ship, after arriving he saw Amir pointing out to every people what they should do even though they already know the drill it is better safe than sorry.

Days went by and it was already been 18 days since they last sail, they encountered some difficulties because of a sudden storm but they still overcame it because of Amir, Raul can't help but admire him. He also wants to become a great leader such as him that is worthy to be admired.

And soon 2 days have passed and they are now reaching their destination, they can now see the kingdom Centaurea, its castle wall made the castle intimidating for pirates that are trying to plunder the city. As they came closer they saw many ships moored on the dock.

As their ship came to the dock they were met by some city folks and guards and were escorted into the city. As they walk around, they can see the lively city with many vendors chit-chatting with their customers.

Amidst them, a man with a dark jacket walk through a dark alley, as he arrived he saw an old man with disheveled clothes but the man looked at the old man as if he's very important, he flicked a coin to him as he uttered "Give me a butchers knife"

The old man pulled a paper and gave it to the man as he smiled at him, his yellow teeth begun to shine in the dark. The old man gestured his hand indicating to add more coins, the man was irritated but pulled 3 more coins from his pocket.

He pulled a pen on his sleeves as he writes something "Give this to Betch immediately".

He gave the letter to the old man as he walks through the dark alley.

The old man snickered his mouth as his hand gestured something. Suddenly, the wall creaks as it opened a passage, as he entered the passage he creepily smiled "Another fight will begin kekekeke" the passage begun to close as if it wasn't been there.

At the same time on Spokoystviye island, Mary was mending the bruises and cut of the unknown man.

It has been 20 days since she kept helping the man, he may twitch sometimes and he kept mumbling something.

As she exits the house to fetch some water to bathe him, the man slowly opened his eyes.

Miran tried to lift his body but the pain he felt made him not do so, his eyes glanced at his surrounding, he saw a tray of fruits lying beside him and as he glanced on his left he saw bandages littered around so he already knows that someone rescued him, but who?

As anyone knows that Uchiha and Senju are one of the most terrifying clan in the village and even the other village are afraid to fight them, even if the Uchiha and Senju made a pact in creating Konohagakure [1] that was only on the surface since it was Hashirama and Madara's doing so it may be peaceful in the outside but conflicts are happening from within.

As everyone knows Uchiha is one of the most arrogant clans and they couldn't stand to see their kin being tainted with other blood beside theirs so they have taken the initiative to chase him and kill him along with his friends and family.

He gritted his teeth as he remembers how the Uchiha and some Senju instigate an incident for them to call the blame on him and while attempting to kill him at the same time. Because of what happened his life turned upside-down.

Luckily he managed to run but in exchange for heavy injury, while he did remember nearly dying on those four he didn't remember what happened after that, it's like someone erased some part of his memory.

He tried to remember but he can't, this may be again a genjutsu cast by the Uchiha to confuse him from reality but he had already awakened his Mangekyou Sharingan [2] so it's already hard to put him in another illusion unless it is a much stronger illusion but who else could make put him in such situation, there is only one answer.

Madara!

He is one of the strongest in the village besides Hashirama and is also the one responsible for maintaining the Uchiha but is that even possible?

Could he even care about such a lowly problem, the answer may depend base on their separate opinion? As Miran is in deep thought suddenly walks through the door.

"Oh! So you are already awake! Well, that was surprising, the doctor told me that you will soon wake up after another month!"

A surprised voice made Miran look at the open door as he saw a woman that is 1 or 2 years younger than him.

She is carrying a basin filled with water and there is also a small towel lying on her shoulder.

Miran's eye suddenly swirls as his deep dark eyes turned red, even though he didn't know if this was an illusion or reality it is better to be safe.

He cast an illusion at the woman as he asked in a heavy tone "Who are you?"

The woman answered robotically as if she lost all of her feelings "I am Sa-er Mary"

"Where am I?"

"You are at Spokoystviye island in South Blue"

'Spokoystviye? South Blue? Where is that?' Miran contemplated

"Do you know Konohagakure?"

The woman didn't answer but she seems to be confused: "What Konohagakure?"

'She didn't seem to know the village, what about...'

"Do you know the Land of Fire [3] ?"

As if he is expecting something, the woman only answered him plainly "No"

"What!" How could nobody know the Land of Fire, even a three years old kid knows that, so how could this woman not know, even if they are very secluded they may already know about the Land of Fire.

'Nevermind I'll think about it later after I'm done healing my body'

As Miran canceled the genjutsu [4] Mary returned to her usual self. She became confused as if something happened to her but at the same time there's nothing that happened 'Huh? What happened, hmm.. whatever'

Mary contemplated for a second before averting her eyes to the man, he's pretty handsome with his dark hair and with his starry dark eyes but the atmosphere that is surrounding him seems to be very distant and cold.

She placed the basin on the floor as she sat on a chair nearby. She tried to initiate a conversation to lighten the mood.

"Uhmm... Hi! My name is Mary"

The man didn't seem to care about her but he seems to be in deep thought. The atmosphere became awkward.

'This doesn't seem like a genjutsu and if it is then I can do nothing, even if I canceled the illusion my body wouldn't even function well as my injury are all lethal, it is even lucky for me to survive with this kind of injuries, should I thank this to my Senju blood or the genjutsu, but if it's true that I'm not in an illusion then this is truly good I can avenge my family!'

"Hello? Are you listening?! Hi!"

Mary waved her hands on him to get his attention. When she tried to poke his cheeks he suddenly averted his eyes on her "What?"

"As I was saying does your body still hurts? Here let me help you change your clothes and let me wash your body as well"

"How many days am I asleep?"

"It's nearly a month I guess? But nevermind about that let me take off your clothes and let me help you change your bandages"

Miran didn't seem to mind that she is a girl, his mind is still calm. He just laid down on the bed as Mary helped him out, he sometimes grunts as the pain he feels is extremely painful.

Mary gently washed his back with a tampon as she mildly presses on the other cuts on his body.

She then pulled the blanket as if not caring about what she'll see. At this point, Miran lost his cool, he can be calm if she cleaned his upper body but on the lower one, no way!

"W-Wait!"

"Huh?"

"Don't mind there just focus on the cuts on my upper body"

Mary waves her hand as she said "Oh come on, are you becoming shy now? I've washed your body like 5 times it's not like I've seen it and besides, it's also.." She gestured her thumb and index finger as she indicated something, something that even Miran himself would feel embarrassed about.

As expected, Miran became red as a tomato, his calm demeanor, and his cold personality went from being cool to being trampled.

'If this is a genjutsu please kill me, just kill me'

The honest Mary didn't even know that she just crushed someone with just a simple gesture of her finger, she innocently squeezes the tampon on the basin and gently rubbed it on Miran's body.
