Her plan to escape was not something she had just thought up because of the situation it had been something she had intended to do ever since she had learnt about her identity as a delegate. That is when she had realized that staying here and waiting to recover indefinitely would not work and she needed to go out and explore other avenues.

Wentian had further stabilized this plan in her mind after teaching her about delegates and their duties and even though the both of them did not know what task she would be given this time they believed it was better to be prepared by making sure she could at least recover her physical, spiritual and mental cultivation by the time her assigned Nagi arrived.

A feat that seemed to be impossible without any exposure to real battle and danger something she had apparently experienced as a child and immensely benefited her they had just been waiting for the right time and she thought this was it as she immediately vanished into the small realm so they could plan ahead.

"You don't need to fret so much everything you need is in here and all you need is yourself." Wentian assured after she was done airing out her misgivings.

"But what if they stop me? You know that they want me to pick between one of them and since they run the city it is very easy for them to stop me." she shared.

"That is not a big deal I already have a plan for this. Come with me there is something I need to show you." Wentian responded as if he had already thought of the issue.

She followed a step behind him as he led her out the mansion and into the sprawling gardens. Everything seemed to come to life recently when compared to the first time she had come here as the flowers brilliantly showed of their vibrance and color and bird songs could be heard in the air.

She took a deep calming breath as they took many turns before stopping in front of a small iron wrought gate. It was unlocked and gave a peak into the inside where a blue shimmering pool lay greatly fascinating her. They continued on the path and walked in giving her a full view of the huge pool that seemed magical as it shimmered with slight waves.

A huge stone statue of woman stood in the middle making the scene all the more magical as it's black obsidian curves shone in the light Wentian seemed to be immune to this sight as he walked to the side of the pool before turning back to her.

"This is a spirit qi pool that is fortified by a spirit gathering array making it the best place for you to cultivate you spiritual qi" he explained making her nod as she stared down at the clear pool.

"So how am I supposed to do it exactly?" she asked looking up at him curiously. After learning that she had previously been a spiritual cultivator she had gone through some spiritual cultivation manuals and even tried to do as they asked but had failed miserably.

This was one of the reasons she had decided to first focus on her physical cultivation and martial arts. Wentian also seemed to remember this as she had done this in the small realm and explained why this would work."Last time you tried cultivating your body and soul had not completely merged as they have now"

"Really did they completely merge? Didn't you tell me it would take a couple of years to merge seamlessly?" she questioned with a frown as she stared up at him reducing the space between them.

"I did" he said before stepping back and walking in the other direction as he continued."But that was if you did not regain your memories and wake up Ye Muxu. Waking her up managed to remove any lingering soul connections to your body and benefitted you greatly but the merge is not complete yet when it is complete you will recover all your memories and cultivation."

"Got it, so I just have to dive into this pool and cultivate?" she further inquired after listening to his explanation.

"That is what you are supposed to do after taking this" he said offering her a tiny pill bottle. She opened it and sniffed the white pill inside before pouring it out on her hand and throwing it into her mouth. The pill was huge and chocked her bit while going down but that was all she felt making her turn to the shocked Wentian.

"What? you said I had to take it." she muttered apprehensively on seeing his expression.

"I did but never mind you have to jump into the pool right now" he said urgently walking up to her and pushing her into the pool. She was still confused as she fell into the water like substance and struggled around for a while before stopping when she noticed she was not drowning.

She stood up and was looking up at Wentian in shock when a stabbing pain suddenly came from her lower abdomen making her wince in pain. She was yet to get used to it as the pain intensified making her squirm as she clawed at her abdomen. The pain only got worse as it slowly spread to her back reminding of period cramps but somehow this was worse as it further spread through out her body.

She screamed in pain as she felt as if something massive was clawing it's way out of her body making her weakly kneel in the pool. This went on for hours which felt like eternity of torture for her before she actually felt a little better. That is when she was able to feel the changes in her body and sat in a meditative pose and started cultivating.

Wentian watched this scene and nodded with approval before walking out the secret garden leaving her all by herself.

Day and night went by outside with a stone faced Lu Tao turning away anyone who came looking for her. This went on for days managing to infuriate many people as they wondered what she was doing locked up in her room for so many days. This occurrence also led to them to start making moves against her as they suspected she had escaped.

Three days later Chen Liju arose from the now almost dried up pool and walked to the mansion where she spoke to Wentian before leaving the small realm. She was shocked to meet her newly acquired maid right after she got back reminding her that she could take her when she went out to cultivate.

That was how they found themselves in the Lanwu Pavilion a few minutes later Sang Jiu was impressed that her new master was associated with such a mysterious force as she watched Chen Liju speak to the manager of the pavilion. The blue robed guy was long gone but had asked the manager to cater to all her needs ensuring she had someone to protect her interest.

"This are all the proofs of ownership you just have to show it to them." she said handing over a bag to the manager who nodded profusely. She asked him to manage her businesses in her stead and take care of Sang Jiu before leaving the pavilion and going back to the Peony.

Her aunt seemed to have had enough time to call for reinforcements while she was gone seeing as she found both the prince's waiting for her. Surprisingly Princess Xie Shenzhen was also present and was here about the banquet she had missed during her seclusion.

Feeling slightly guilty as she had actually intended to attend she apologized to the gracious princess who accepted her apology before asking her to visit her whenever she was free. After dealing with the small matter she had to meet up with the two men and therefore asked them to see her at the same time.

That is when they shared their extreme concern over her sickness(the excuse Lu Tao had given) this past few days and wondered how she was doing. She curtly told them her health was fine before forcefully asking them to leave. This was not only because they were annoying but because she had to get all the rest she could before leaving tomorrow.
