The Enemy Is Far More Powerful

Grandfather Lin's brows furrowed deeply, his eyes narrowing,"You say dark energies? Explain."

Chujiu explained everything in detail, taking a deep breath first. "This dark energy is sneaky and attacks the most important part of our core spiritual essence. If we don't get rid of it, it will make us weak and sick while damaging the base of our cultivation, and we won't be able to fight back against enemies."

Lin Shihong understood the implications right away. "So this dark energy isn't just making us sick, it's even messing with our cultivation too?"

"Exactly," Chujiu nodded and continued, "We must act fast to purify our spiritual core, strengthen our defences, and root out the source of these malevolent energies before they expand further."

Grandfather Lin's eyes flashed, "How do these energies enter our bodies in the first place?"

Chujiu added, "Not only you three, I also saw them in the bodies of my maids".

"There must be something in the food or in the air in our Family."

Lin Shihong is confused and asked, "We don't see anything ourselves, how can you find the existence of these energies little jiu?"

Grandfather Lin took a deep breadth and said, "Yesterday I told you that she can use all elements. You may have forgotten that apart from main 7 elements of the nature that are thunder, light and dark elements as well. We often forget these elements as they are not used or cultivated in our continent."

Both Master Lin and Madam Lin are astonished upon the discovery. They are proud but also got worried at the same time. Blessings will come with hidden dangers, how can they protect their only little girl in the family!

Reality drawled upon Master Lin, he asked with confirmation tone, "Little Jiu, did you faint just now because you used your dark element energy to check our bodies? You drained your energies right?"

Chujiu nodded, "I just activated my spiritual root and the dark element is dormant in my system. I am too weak uncle".

She started hating herself for being too weak. They are facing an unknown enemy who seems to be far more powerful. She is not in a position to even defend, fighting is a far cry.

Madam Lin took Chujiu in to her arms and consoled, "Don't worry Little jiu, we will find a solution. You are too young, it should be us who should be protecting you and the entire family. You have already done a great job by finding out, otherwise we wouldn't even know when we are crippled. By then when enemy attacks, we could only die miserably."

Master Lin nodded in agreement, his lips set in a firm line. "Indeed, by alerting us you have given us time to think and plan to reverse the damage done. Don't burden yourself, leave it to the uncle".

Grandfather Lin took a seat near the bed and said, "its a good thing that all our young boys have gone out on missions otherwise what if they are affected too"

"Grandfather, we should first find the source and the culprit, it should be among the family servants or guards. Only then we can find the solution to remove these energies and we don't have much time", Chujiu is worried that things will go out of hand if culprit is not found early.

He is appearing strong but he is deeply worried about this unknown enemy who seems to be several times stronger than their Lin Family.

Who on earth is so capable of using dark energies which are sparse and hard to find.

Chujiu felt warm in her heart and assured them that she would take rest today.
