In the Gang Leader's office, Yin Xi was on her phone, inspecting cute guys. The conference hall's loud argument, involving many of her elders, hall masters, and subordinates, disturbed her.
"Why are you people making noise?" Yin Xi approached, frowning.
Everyone stopped arguing when they saw her and remained silent. She frowned deeper when no one answered.
"Didn't I ask a question?"
"Pre-president, last night, our goods in the west were stolen by an unknown group of men," a man said anxiously.
"Yes, president, we learned about the incident this morning. our men informed us that an unknown group of men, dressed in black army uniforms and masks, infiltrated our whare house last night. they outnumbered us significantly. They were extremely well-prepared and used the darkness to their advantage. There were at least 150 more of them than our men," another elder explained.
"The good thing was they weren't armed, and none of our men lost their lives; they were only injured. It seems their sole motive was to steal our goods."
"And they executed everything swiftly."
"Wait, Wait, did they take everything?" Yin Xi asked
"No, they only took our weapons and left the jewelry and clothes," a hall master replied.
"Were they truly unarmed?" Yin Xi furrowed her brows.
"Yes, they were completely unarmed," Elder Wu confirmed.
Yin Xi pondered, "They infiltrated under darkness, pinpointed our hidden weapons, and brought twice the number of men. This doesn't add up..."
"President, what do you mean?" Elder Wu asked, confused.
Yin Xi evaded the question. "What was your argument about earlier?"
"President, I've been saying only Night Shadow can pull this off, but these old geezers won't listen," Elder Wong said.
Yin Xi thought, Isn't he an old geezer as well?
"That can't be. Why would Night Shadow take our weapons when they have superior ones?" a subordinate questioned.
Yin Xi asked with a faint smile, "So, you're saying my weapons aren't good?"
Cold sweat broke out on the man's face. "No, no, president, that's not what I meant..."
Elder Li chimed in, "I think what he's trying to say is that Night Shadow's tactics are unpredictable."
"But that doesn't explain why they'd steal our weapons," Hall Master Chen countered.
"Maybe they want to provoke us," Elder Wu suggested.
"Or perhaps it's a diversion," Subordinate Zhang added.
The debate escalated, with each member offering conflicting theories.
Ay, These idiots, Yin Xi sighed.
She contemplated, _If Night Shadow's weapons surpass ours, it doesn't mean they're useless to them. Perhaps stealing our arms weakens us for a future attack_
Of course, it was just a hypothesis; it's not clear if it was indeed the Night shadow's people.
"Old Wong, take me to the warehouse," Yin Xi said, interrupting the debate.
"Which warehouse, president?" Elder Wong asked.
Yin Xi irritably glanced at him. "Which one do you think it is?"
If he wasn't old, she would have kicked his ass.
"The one... we were discussing, where our weapons were stolen from," Elder Wong replied, slightly intimidated.
"President, I'll continue investigating those men..." Elder Wu began.
Yin Xi waved. "No need. I'll do it myself." She also had to teach those incompetent fools a lesson. An unarmed group was able to attack them and take away their weapons...
She instructed Elder Wong, "Let's go."
"Yes," Elder Wong replied, and they left.
