First step

Winds blowing across the field. Grass waving by the flow of the wind. The orange-colored sky is somewhat calming. Indicating that sundown will be arriving soon. Rays of sunlight poured onto the land giving it warmth. A lone tree stood in the middle of the field. Echoes of squeaks and giggling of children can be heard from the tree.

Two boys were playing with wooden swords while a girl was sitting on the roots of the tree while reading a book. The boys were wearing expensive-looking clothes as well as the girl. Making known that they're above the normal status in society. A bored look plastered on the girl's face.

"Hyaah! Take this you vile demon!" a blue-haired boy shouted at the red-haired boy. "You can't defeat me, hero! You lack the strength to do so!" The red-haired boy shouted back.

"The princess is mine! If you want her you have to defeat me!" the red-haired boy continued. The blue-haired boy's face scrunched under the pressure of the wooden sword. "As if I'll ever be defeated by a dirty demon like you!" revolted the blue-haired boy.

"Ethan, Erasmus, that's enough. Let's head back. It's getting dark." said the grey-whitish-haired girl as she closed her book. lilac eyes gazed over the boys as they stopped their roleplaying as heroes and demons.

"Y-yes. My apologies to your highness." stammered the blue-haired boy named Ethan as he sheaths his wooden sword on his hip. He's a child who was supposed to be her knight in the future, selected by his talent in martial arts, swordsmanship, and marksmanship despite his young age.

"Aw relax Ada it's only 5 o'clock. We still have a lot of time." with a smirk the red-haired boy Esmerus, put the wooden sword on his shoulder. The smirking brat is the fiance of the girl. Their parents decided that they should spend a lot of time together considering they'd be together in the future. His lax and easygoing attitude is quite annoying. But he's a smart kid with a promising future like Ethan.

"And that's why we have to get going. By the time we arrive back at the castle, it'll already be dusk," says Adalane as she began packing her belongings. An exasperated sigh came out of Esmerus's mouth as he mumbles in discontent under his breath.

"Don't worry your highness, we can always come here again tomorrow, But you must finish your studies as fast as you can" says Ethan. As he shoulders the backpack on his back.

"Hah! Are you saying that I'm not doing good enough!? I'll tell you! I always place number 1 whenever there's a test" says Esmerus, crossing his hands and smiling haughtily.

"Yet every day we have to wait for an hour for you before we can go out and play. I wonder why that is?" Says Adalane, a slightly teasing smile on her face.

"T-That's because my instructor made me do a bunch of complicated stuff!" turning the other way as he is unable to face her. Cheeks flushed in embarrassment.

"Yeah-yeah that's not the first time we've heard that your highness," Ethan says as he readjusts the luggage he's shouldering on his back.

"E-Ethan! You bastard!" seeths Esmerus out of embarrassment and anger

"Language, Esmerus, or I'll tell you to your father-?!" her sentence stopped as a loud sound of the explosion reverberated through the sky. All three of them turned their heads in the direction the sound was coming from. A giant mass of steel with fire comes out of the groups of clouds. Smokes trailing its rapid descent approaching the surface at an alarming rate.

"What the-!?" says Esmerus as he's unable to utter a word

"A cargo cruiser?!" screamed Ethan as he held Esmerus and Adalane down to protect them in case anything happened to them. Not that it'd help of course. "What the hell happened to it?!" he asks as the cruiser glides at an impossible speed for its size far above them.

A Roaring sound pierced their eardrums. A glowing rod of metal breaking the sound barrier was locked onto the cruiser. The speed of the rod was astounding; it created cones of wind around it as it glided to the cargo cruiser.

"A missile!?" screamed Adalane. The missile exploded as it hit the cargo cruiser causing a huge explosion and destroying one of its engines. Losing one of its remaining sources of thrust, the cruiser plummeted down closer to the ground. As the cruiser glided out of their eyesight, a booming sound entered their ears, as the cruiser crashed onto the ground. Smokes rise into the sky at a stationary location.

A group of aircraft soars above their heads with a loud noise, breaking them out of their trance. There were 2 ground ships, 2 jet fighters, and a shuttle headed towards the crashed cruiser.

"Let's go!" shouted Adalane brushing off Ethan's hand from her shoulder as she ran toward the crash site.

"Wait, princess! We need to run!" shouted Ethan as he dropped the backpack running towards the princess.

"Those people are in trouble! As a princess of this country, I can't just let this pass by!" Adalane shouts back at the chasing Ethan.

"Then we should go and get you father! Those ships are breaking into our border!" Shouted Ethan, grabbing hold of Adalane's hand and pulling her to a stop.

"He's right Adalane," says Esmerus in a monotone voice.

"This is not something that we can handle. We need to go" says Esmerus as he begins heading toward their home.

"Princess we need to go ." Urging Ethan as he starts pulling her hand following Esmerus.

Adalane was reluctant at first. But she regained her thought back and start thinking logically. What can a couple of children do in this situation? nothing. It is wiser to let her father handle this. An enemy has entered our borders. The troops will surely dispose of them. But what about the cargo cruiser? Why did the other continent attack them? with those thoughts in her mind, they started running home as the sun began to set.

*change scene

The fire spread across the room, Sirens blaring and red lights were everywhere. A dribble of blood drops on the floor as the boy lifts his head. He held his head in his hand nausea hitting him hard like a rock. Fluids poured out of his mouth as he puked.

A hand strokes his back gently as he tries to recover from his nausea. Looking up, a woman with chestnut-like hair continues stroking his back. "Are you okay young master?" says the woman. Her left hand was bent weirdly, blood dripping off her arm.

"Helena, your arm.." says the boy as he cringes by looking at the wound.

"Ah, this is nothing. Anyways, young master, can you stand, do you remember where we are? And what we're doing?" the woman named Helena replied, paying no attention to herself but instead to the boy.

"Y-yes, I think I'm fine. Dad said that we were going somewhere and we ended up here-Ouch!" the boy replied to Helena's question as he assessed his body only to feel slight pain as he touched his head.

"Young master is a really smart kid," says Helena with a smile as she rips the hem of her skirt tying it up around his head bandaging his wound on the head.

"It's going to leave a little scar but I'm sure the young master will still be handsome in the future." Helena continued wincing at the pain in her arm. As the boy was about to say something, a man came toward them.

"Helena, how's he?" the man with amber-looking eyes asks as he approaches us. He wore a navy shirt and jeans pants, a weird combination.

"Father..what happened?" asks the boy as he looks at the disheveled state of his father, his grey hair smothered with red spots of blood.

"We ran into some problems, but it'll be fine," says the old man. Despite that, the boy knew they were not fine.

"Alright son, I want to give this to you as your birthday gift in the future, but I don't think the circumstances will allow that," says the old man, his hoarse voice sounding weak, his sapphire eyes staring deep into the boy's also sapphire eyes. The old man held out a pocket watch in his hand, intending it as a gift for his son.

"I don't think this is an appropriate time for this father." says the boy as he takes the watch from his father's hand, putting it in his hands.

The old man smiles at his son's answer. a gaze a father would give towards their child was plastered on his face. A gaze of content and happiness, at the thought and memories, that they had spent together. Something that's only momentary.

"Always the jokester you are." says the old man as he ruffles his son's hair. The boy smiles at their little conversation.

"Schwartz, we should get going. The cruiser is damaged beyond repair, it won't be able to fly anymore." A man wearing a fur jacket intrudes on a heartwarming session between the father and son duo. His black hair was tied in a high ponytail. His beard made him look like he was in his 30s.

"Yeah no shit yuri," replied Schwartz as he stood up, picking his son up with him. His small frame made it easy for him to carry his son in his arms. Schwartz is no soldier, but he always tried to maintain his body as best as he can.

"What's the status?" asks Schwartz.

"No need to be feisty," Yuri replied with a scowl.

"Anyways, we should get going, we landed close to a forest. We should hide there. On top of that, most of the crew is already dead. Including my sister." there was nothing behind that statement. Just nothing.

"Yeah, I know that," replied Schwartz in a sad voice. Tears began to well up in his eyes as he wiped them off. Yuri, Schwartz, Helena, and more survivors began to walk out of the bridge of the cruiser through an emergency airlock.

Stepping out of the emergency exit, a sea of flame greeted them. Smokes entered their nostrils making them cover their nose. Creaking and sounds of explosions can be heard as they begin their descent from the top of the bridge.

"We need to hurry! This place won't hold long, and they'll be here any second now!" shouted yuri as they managed to find a way out of the sea of fire.

"There! to the east!" shouted a man as they began their marathon towards the forest. As they were about to enter the forest, a shrieking sound can be heard from the direction of the crash site. Turning their head toward the noise, a fighter jet was hovering above the sea of flame. White smoke came out from under the jet as it slowly diminish the fire. Another fighter entered their eyesight, blue light emanating from its nozzle scanning the crash site. Suddenly, the fighter jet faced them. Blue lights blaring on their face.

"Run! We need to go!" Schwartz Shouted as they quickened their pace twice-fold toward the forest. The previous shrieking noise approaches them at a high speed. Orange light came out of its nozzle blaring as it hit the ground in front of us.

'That bastard fired a live round!' says Schwartz in his head as he hands his son to Helena.

"Master?!" shouted Helena at the sudden shift of responsibility confused.

"Go! Get him out of this place Helena! Perform your duty!" Schwartz shouted as he stopped running facing the fighter jet.

"My duty was to serve and protect your family!" shouted back Helena.

"These bastards want me, so go! That's an order! take care of my son, you stubborn maid!" continued Schwartz as he stopped his track in front of the aircraft.

With an anguished look on her face, Helena continued her run towards the forest as fast as she could, holding the boy in his arms. The other survivors were also not far behind. Bullets rained down on them, some of the survivors were caught in it and others simply gave up hope, leaving them as they realized they cannot escape the fighter jets.

Arriving at the forest, Helena ducked under a tree trunk, hiding as she recollected her breath, whilst she held the boy close to her.

Peeking at the clearance, Helena quietly peered over the edge of the tree trunk assessing the situation.

A loud crash arrived next to her. Confused and scared, Helena put the boy behind her in a protective stance. As the smoke cleared out, a man with tied black hair was there putting his bag on the ground.

"Yuri…" says Helena in a sigh as she lowers her stance. Heart pounding in her ribcage as if it's going to explode out of her chest. "You scared me," continued Helena.

"Sorry sis Lena," says Yuri as he wipes out the dust on his body. Another shrieking noise with a higher pitch entered their ear. Waves of winds blow onto them as the engine of a shuttle begins its descent.

Both of them turn towards the scene again watching everything unfold.

"H-Helena, what is going on. What's going to happen to dad, Why did he leave me?" asks the boy in a tiny tone of voice, scared out of his wits. Why did they have to run away? Why did they crash on this unfamiliar land, why did those planes shoot them? He wants to cry, but he'll always remember what his mother would always say. As to calm him down on a minor scale. Nervousness hits him hard as he doesn't want anything to happen to his father.

"D-Don't worry dear nothing is gonna happen. Everything will be fine." Says Helena embracing the boy tight as to calm him down.

"Now dear, I want you to do as I say, okay?" Says Helena.

*Change Scene

The shuttle lands in front of them. The survivors were grouped in front of it. The land gear dropped down, lowering the ramp of the hangar, slowly dropping to the ground. As the hatch hits the grassy plain, 4 people slowly descend from the shuttle. 2 of them wore helmets with firearms in their arms, their armor was tinted in black color, and there was no visor for them to see. 1 woman was wearing a white business suit, her tousled white hair flowing down her back, her deep blue colored eyes piercing Schwartz's eyes menacingly. And lastly, the one who stood out the most was a man who looked around in his late 30s wearing a black navy suit with a cape on his back. His sapphire eyes dominate the atmosphere giving off a commanding pressure.

"Hanym, How good it is to see you" grunted Schwartz as he was shoved to the ground by one of the soldiers that arrived on the troop transport ship.

"Schwartz, it's very pleasant to see you, you look… Disheveled" replied the man called Hanym.

"Of course, I fucking do" Schwartz replied in a harsh tone.

Hanym snickered at the response as he slowly approached Schwartz.

"I'll get straight to the point Schwartz, Where's the blueprint and intel on project 036?" Hanym crouched down at the same eye level as Schwartz.

With a disgruntled sound, Schwartz spits on his face. "Go fuck yourself, " says Schwartz as he refused to answer his question.

Standing up, Hanym took a handkerchief from one of his pockets, wiping his face with it. With a deadpan face as he stared into Schwartz, he gave orders to his soldiers.

"Kill one of them," Hanym says nonchalantly.

"No!" Shouted Schwarts in refute. One of the soldiers shot the survivors in cold blood with no remorse. Shrieks and screams escape their mouths. Unable to look at the dead body of his colleague, guilt and anger shrouded him. Guilt towards himself and anger towards the one who killed his colleague.

"Refuse any further and another dies in your hands, Schwartz. These people are loyal to you which is amazing. Now, Where's the intel to project 036. I ain't asking Schwartz this is a threat you know?" Hanym continued rambling his mouth.

Sapphire's meets sapphire.

"Hah, fine I didn't want to do this." with a flick of his finger 2 more of the survivors was shot. Blood floods the grassy plain. Turning it crimson red. Schwartz's body shakes in anger as he grips his hand as hard as he can.

"Why are you like this brother?" Schwartz asks anger in his voice.

"It's for the greater good of our country. These southern bastards have been alive long enough. It's time for us to finish it once and for all. That's the purpose our family was created for. Did you forget about that, younger brother?" says Hanym. Unable to respond to him, Schwartz kept his silence tight.

"Head professor, please…I don't wanna die…" a woman grabs a hem of his cloth begging him as she doesn't want to die. The other survivors were also looking at him with begging eyes, to be spared and not die.

"Aww, would you look at that? Everyone is relying on you as their leader. A leader is supposed to do what a leader is supposed to do right?" says Hanym in a teasing tone of voice.

"Welp, if you're not gonna tell me I'll make you tell me," says Hanym as he takes a handgun from one of his soldiers, pointing it at a young man's head.

"Head professor…please." says the woman who was clinging to him.

"3" Schwartz began to rack his brain for decisions and the consequences that are gonna cost him.

"2," says Hanym in a taunting tone of voice.

"This is no time to think, Schwartz!" shouted Hanym as he unclicks the safety button on the handgun.

"One" as he was about to pull a trigger, a loud bang can be heard as one of the soldiers fell to the ground.

"What!" another soldier shouted.

"Enemy attack!" another shouted.

Bullets blare as an automated gun hits and take soldiers out one by one. A woman was running towards one of the soldiers.

"Helena!?" shouted Schwartz in shock. "What the hell are you doing!" continued Schwartz. Helena didn't reply as she continued to take down one of the soldiers with a gun she picked up from the dead soldier. The other person who was leading the attack was Yuri. he shoots the soldiers with incredible precision.

The captured survivors were running around frantically as the surroundings quickly turned into a firefight. Helena, Yuri, and a couple of the survivors who picked up the guns from the fallen soldiers were putting a fight back. Until the masked soldiers stepped in. Their armor is bulletproof and their skills are top-notch. Their movement was amazing, all of their moves were filled with the intent to kill. One by one the survivors were shot and killed by the duo of masked soldiers.

"Stop" Schwartz's hoarse voice escapes his mouth betraying his earlier expression of bravery as Yuri was shot down cold-blooded. Continued with their gun pointed at Helena.

"Stop!" shouted Schwartz as tears dropped from his eyes. Most of the people that he wanted to protect were dead. The masked soldiers stopped their massacre as Hanym approached him.

"Finally decided to give in huh? Now tell me where it is" says Hanym as he puts a handgun to Schwartz's forehead.

"Kremeah, a branch of the Autonoma cooperation. A private lab of mine" replied Schwartz in an exhausted voice.

"Hmph, alright let's go" Hanym ordered his troops.

The masked soldiers, the woman who didn't say anything, and Hanym board their shuttle with a satisfied smirk on his face.

"It's a pleasure doing business with you brother. I'll see you in hell" says Hanym as the ramp of the ship closes and it lifts off. Leaving them in the dust.

"Master…, Why?" asks Helena as she watches them go.

"I'm sorry, Helena," says Schwartz as a shrieking sound enters his ears. Looking above his head, a glowing red rod of steel approaches them at a high speed. The survivors give an inevitable scream as the missile hits their location.

"I'm sorry, son." was Schwartz's last word as the explosions engulfs him.

In a clearing in the forest, a boy was watching everything unfold, screams and voices of anguish enter his ear. As the fire unfolded, He quickly get out of his hiding spot running towards the place where the missile hit. His bluish-black hair flutters at the shockwave of the wind.

There was nothing left at the site as everything was extinguished and disintegrated in the explosion. Tears began dropping from his eyes as he began crying at the death of his loved ones.

*change scene

The sun had already fallen, embracing the world in the cold of the night. In the sky out far from civilization, a squadron of 6 fighter jets was flying in formation keeping a tight line between each other. The fighter jets all look similar, a single-engine, a dual rudder, and a dual tail at the back of the fighter jet. Its diamond-shaped wings look majestic as the plane flew in the darkness of the moon. It's a dual-seated fighter making its size bigger than normal. The squadron was fully loaded with armaments in response to the country's radar picking up multiple ships that entered their borders illegally.

"Team Alpha have you seen anything?" a voice entered the cockpit of the fighters.

"Alpha 2 speaking, we're already at the breaching point and following their flight pattern. There's nothing as of now. Engaging geographical and heat signature radar. Says the man in the coms.

"Huh? That's weird?" a red glowing rod of steel approaches their fighter jets at an impeccable speed, a reason their radar was unable to pick up the coming missile. The missile destroyed the entire cockpit area of the fighter jet, killing both of the pilots.

"What the!" shouted a woman, shocked as 2 of their teammates were killed in an instant. Lessing 1 fighter in the squadron.

"Bogey I report Bogey Bogey! HQ! Alpha 2 was shot down! We're beginning to approach to counter the enemy aircraft!" another voice comes in from the radio in a panic tone as one of their fighter jets was shot down.

"Alright people! According to the rules, we can shoot back if they shoot first! So let's give them hell!" an old voice this time as one of the fighter jets fell out of formation.

"Aye, sir!" Voices in unison replied through the radio. The fighters began moving out of formation one by one.

"Let's go! We need to catch up!" says an orange-haired man in the second seat of the fighter jet.

"Yeah!" a woman with brown colored hair and green eyes replied. As she was about to fall out of the formation, a barrage of lights emerged out of nowhere. Causing the woman to barrel roll the plane downwards, out of the line of the barrages of light.

"What the!-" shouted the woman as they managed to escape in time.

"Whoa-Hey!" His partner's sudden turn on the ship shocked him. The fighter jet maneuvers from left to right as they try to shake off the enemy aircraft.

"Alpha squadron, we are being attacked by an enemy aircraft. Bogey! Bogey! We're disengaging from the squadron!" says the woman as she maneuvers the jet to avoid the barrages of light that are still chasing them. The aircraft managed to get at their 6 making it easy for them to get shot. They had to turn the tide of the dogfight. Barrages of light can be seen missing around them.

"Alpha 5 stay on the team!" says alpha one. The same hoarse old voice replied. Causing the woman to turn off the coms.

"Hey! You didn't have to cut him off!" shouted the man as he tried to get a good look at the enemy aircraft but to no avail. The aircraft was hard to be seen in the dark shade of the moon.

"Shit I can't see them! Miko!" shouted the man.

"Yeah! I know!" shouted Miko as she made a tight turn to the right, attempting to get back at the enemy aircraft.

Miko pressed a trigger on the throttle. Shooting barrages of light at the aircraft in front of them. She can't see its whole figure, but she can at least see it. Even a little.

"Jack, try getting a lock-on! On this bastard!" shouted Miko as the barrage of light missed the enemy aircraft.

"I'm… trying!...got-cha!" shouted jack as he managed to get a lock on by using infrared sensors.

"Nice!" shouted Miko as she launched one of their missiles at the enemy aircraft.

The aircraft responded by shooting flares in an attempt at evading the missile. As it shoots its flares, Miko and Jack manage to get a good look at the enemy aircraft. It was a shuttle. Its shark-like shape stood out a lot, and its wings looked like the fins of a shark. But what weirded them out was the fact that the shuttle managed to conduct maneuvers as if it was a fighter jet.

It didn't shock them at the fact the missile missed. No, it should've made sense at the very beginning that their enemy was no sky pirate. The enemy shuttle did a 180 turn all of the sudden in just under one second, shooting all of its missiles at them.

"Crap!" shouted Jack as he deployed flares in an attempt at avoiding all the missiles.

"Hngh!" grunted Miko as she maneuvers them to the left, narrowly colliding with the shuttle at high speed. The G-force hits them felt harder than someone's mother's belt. Crushing all of their organs at the pressure and the force of the maneuver. The shuttle managed to get at their tail again.

The g-force that hit them was something that they've adapted to their body during their hundreds of hours of training. And the advanced G-force suit that has been improved countlessly helped them keep their consciousness.

As they almost managed to avoid the volley of missiles, one of them exploded near their aircraft. Causing some damage to the engine.

"Shit! We're hit! The engine is going down! Attempting to reboot the engine! Attempting to get rid of the fire!" shouted Jack in panic. Pressing buttons in front of him.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, it is they'd either get shot down or crash land. The engine is losing its thrust, and time is running out. They need to do something fast. As Miko did some quick thinking.

"Jack, hold on," says Miko in a relaxed tone.

"Huh! What are you-Whoa!" shouted Jack in at the sudden maneuver.

As she said that, Miko pulled the throttle backward and decreased their speed. Their view was that of the dark moonlit sky, performing the move called 'Cobra'. The move would get her in a lot of trouble in training, but it was so damn worth it as they managed to stall their speed to get behind the enemy as they were vertical again.

"Fuck…You!" shouted Miko as she pulled a trigger releasing a missile towards the enemy shuttle. But to their shock, the missile missed and hit nothing as the shuttle was gone from their sight. Only leaving a blue trail of energy that matched their engine.

"What the hell just happened-?" says Jack questioning the scene right in front of them. "Overdrive readings are going haywire. Did they just enter overdrive at an altitude below 300?" Jack looks into his monitor.

"I don't know?" replied Miko as she is as shocked as jack.

"With that kind of technology, it's not just an ordinary pirate or something, They've gotta be…"

"Yeah, the northern continent, Looks like those guys are back," frowns Miko.

Breaking them out of their thoughts, sirens were blaring. With a loud shake, their aircraft's engine died because of overusage.

"Shit! We're losing altitude. Flaps switched to landing! and landing gear down! Miko! We need to land somewhere on a flat surface!" shouted jack.

"You're asking for the impossible!" shouted back Miko.

"Whatever! we just need to find a clearance!" shouted Jack.

"Tch!" grunted Miko as she began turning on the geographical radar, gliding to the flattest land she can find.

"Engaging frontal thrusters!" shouted Miko. combustion came out of the front part of the fuselage slowing the aircraft to a certain speed.

"Brace! Brace! Brace!" shouted Jack as the aircraft hit the ground. The landing gear touched the ground first. Miko hits the brakes as hard as she can, slowing down the aircraft. But considering the rough landing, the landing gear oughta be broken.

"Hah, we made it," sighs jack. "I'm tired, I'm too old for this." says jack as he continued his mumbling. Even though he's in his 20s.

As Jack was having his dilemma, Miko took off her helmet and her oxygen mask. Her beautiful green eyes focused on the coms as she tried to contact the rest of their squadron. A buzzing sound came out of the coms.

"This Miko of the Alpha squadron, callsign emerald. Alpha 1 do you copy?" says Miko.

"Oi brat! Where did you go!" the old voice again.

"Sorry squad leader but we were engaged in a dogfight with an enemy shuttle. As of where we're now… all I can say is that our engine is dead" says Miko knowing what would happen if she said that.

"Hah! How!? You know what! Just turn on your beacon! We're gonna call HQ and make them send some help. Stay safe down there Pilot" says the old voice as if he's already tired of their banter.

"Yes sir," says Miko as she turns off the coms with a sigh.

"I need some fresh air," says Jack as he opens the canopy of their aircraft.

"Same, " says Miko, joining him as she steps out of the aircraft, picking up her firearm in case any wild animal decides to attack them.

Jumping to the ground, they turned on the flashlight to lighten up their surroundings. The both of them started walking forward tiredly until they heard a cry.

"What was that?" asks Jack as his red eyes wander around due to the sudden sound.

"Aw don't tell me you're scared? Want me to hold your hands? Are you going to pee your pants?" says Miko, smirking haughtily. Teasing the scared young man.

"Shut up Miko! No, I'm not scared!" retorted Jack as Miko enjoys his panicked expressions. As their banter came to a close, the crying and sighing became louder. Miko began moving towards the sound.

"Hey! What are you doing!" hisses Jack as he hides behind Miko.

"Ah shut up you wuss, I- huh?" as she was about to comment on Jack's scared antics, the noise stopped. Flashing the lights forward, a figure was sitting in front of them. Its body was hunched forward, its hands were clasped in front of its body. A silent cry escaped Jack's mouth.

Moving closer, Miko managed to make out what the figure was like, a small frame resembling a body of a boy, bluish-black hair facing against them.

"Hey! What are you doing here!" shouted Miko as she approached the boy. His bluish-black hair turned around to face her. The boy's eyes filled with rage and anger as he held something in his hands. As she was about to say something despite the questions in her mind, the boy spoke up. His amber eyes flared with determination.

"I'll kill them," says the boy as he grips his pocket watch hard until the palm of his hands bled. His face and expression scared Jack making him pass out,
