But it looked like the twins were immune to that. Perhaps because they were also fungus-like monsters, they were more resistant to this type of spore attack.

Black hair, because of the bracelet, fluttered while the magical focus on the staff shone brighter. Small frozen crystals began to form in the air, each pointing in a different and very sharp direction.

Kin tried his best to defend himself against the creatures, attacking with his sword in wide arcs taking on six enemies at a time. However his power was not enough, one of the enemies managed to dodge his sword and get closer, punching his head with a hand full of thorns.

When he was about to hit, Nicola's bracelet starts to pulse, warning that one of the twins is in danger. The bracelet of the two twins also emits pulsations and Kin's reacts automatically to the blow creating a multi elemental barrier that surrounds Kin's entire body and protects him from death.

Seeing this, Gin cannot wait any longer and casts her spell towards the cactus people. Ice crystals reach their bodies and act like seeds, sprouting and spreading a layer of ice from the hole left in them. Making those monsters nothing more than paralyzed ice statues.
