The Gift Who Come Late

"Normal man have their normal way to create a miracle!"

That quote was Jaffar's motivation. It was quote from Tokyo Raven, an anime from Japan. Because of that quote, he didn't demand a devil fruit from Garp. He also prohibit Hina to eat devil fruit if not in life and death situations.

Currently he had three devil fruit in his storage room. As he didn't have devil fruit catalog, he didn't know what effect they had. Two beauties also agreed with Jaffar as Jaffar told them about side effects of devil fruit. He told them about Boa Hancock's sister.

Jaffar told them to wrap devil fruits and loaded to the ship. With then he bid farewell to the villagers and set sail once again.

Currently, his ship only had three people as he already returned the temporary crew to Sengoku. Nami mainly on the navigator room. It was miracle that Jaffar could endure not to tease her. It was not he afraid of his wife wanna be. It's mainly because influence from his previous life.

"You can have one hundred women in your embrace. But please remember, woman also had their desire. Even if you treated them equally, they would still struggle for your favor."

That was his late mother advise. His mother was from Middle East and there having two or nine wives was very normal. Currently Jaffar didn't have any interest to take Nami on his embrace. He still love Hina for now and he hope she would love him forever.

On the deck, Jaffar currently hugging Hina from behind. They looked the vast sea and enjoyed the view.

"Husband, can you refrain yourself? Hina embarrassed." Hina complained yet didn't struggle.

Jaffar just smiled and didn't answer. He wanted to enjoy his last lazy moment. Shabodi Archipelago wasn't joke and just one wrong move, his carefree life would vanish. He wasn't strong enough to oppose World Government.

When he still hugged Hina lovingly, a severe headache suddenly hit his head. He struggled to stay conscious, but his conscious still faded away. He heard Hina shouted in panic.

The world seemed become blurry. He lost contact with surrounding and entered in deep sleep. Inside his subconscious, Jaffar sat on the black chair. He observed surrounding yet he only saw shadowy environment. Everything present in dark.

"Are you enjoying your time, bastard?" The voice was melodious enough to make him entrapped, yet he knew that it was voice of Almighty Being who thrown him on the sea.

After thinking for awhile, he nodded. At least, that bullshit Almighty Being still gave him a second choice in very ordinary yet magical world.

"Haha, you even have conscience to grateful to me, little shit? Nah, I'm very amiable Almighty God. I accept your grateful as apologize." Jaffar somewhat knew that the Almighty Being in happy mood despite he didn't see the appearance.

"Little Shit, I'm same with other God from another universe. Throwing you into anime world without gift is like eating shit. So, to avoid being humiliated by other God, I will grant you a gift. It is a talent to allow you eat seven zoan type devil fruits. Of course, because I use Soul Land as template, you can only get their power maximum at half transformation. You can't use full transformation." Almighty Being said with cheerful voice. This voice alone almost made Jaffar didn't want to back.

Jaffar wasn't overwhelmed with the gift. He believed that normal human also had normal way to make a miracle. But having another power as backup also good enough. He wasn't hypocrite after all.

But Jaffar very worried about his ability. What if he accidentally ate another type devil fruits after he ate a zoan? Would his body explode?

"Don't worry, your hand could detect the general type of fruit but can't determine the power inside it. For example you know that the fruit is zoan type. But you won't know what creature power inside."

Jaffar nodded. It was simple yet good ability. He regretted his past deed. He regretted bad mouthing the Almighty Being. He/She actually very nice.

"You finally understand that I'm very benevolent God?"

Before Jaffar could nod, he already back to his body again. His conscious lit up and he could opened his eyes.

Hina hugged his body while sleeping. He caressed her smooth hair and smiled.

"Thanks, dear." He whispered to her.

Hina instantly woke up and looked at Jaffar for a while without blinking and then cried silently while hugged his neck.

"Ma ma, I'm back." Jaffar consoled her.

"Don't leave Hina." Hina said quietly.

Suddenly the cabin door opened and Nami saw he and Hina hugged romantically and closed her eyes with her hand.

"Aw aw! So sweet!" She instantly went out and closed the door again.

Jaffar just shook his head and Hina buried her head on his shoulder. His wanted this moment last for a long time.

After Hina settled down, he shorted his thought. With the gift in his gasp, would he abandon it just for swimming ability? But he really enjoyed swimming and hunting sea monster. What should he do?

After all back to normal, he told Hina and Nami about his dream. He told them his meeting with Almighty Being as dream. Of course Hina and Nami didn't say anything about his flippant attitude. From the start, Jaffar was such person.

"Hina afraid of losing Jaffar." Hina didn't give encouragement. Jaffar told her about the side effects if he ate devil fruits wrongly.

"I think Captain must try it. How Captain unconscious and the dream is really something. It's worth to try." Nami have him her analysis.

Jaffar knew that he wanted to try it. But without approval from his wife wanna be, it was meaningless. After he gave Hina his puppy eyes, Hina finally relented.

"But Hina also want a devil fruit if Husband eat the fruit!" Hina following statement made him smiled bitterly.
