When we got to the living room, I went straight to the refrigerator to get some water for the two of us.

" So how did the meeting go?" I asked him and he gave me a look.

" Are you interested in knowing what goes on at the company?" he asked back with an amused expression.

" Why not?" I asked back.

" Why now?" he questioned with curious eyes.

" Nothing, I just think I should be sharing your burden. I haven't been really useful all this time and I feel bad because of it" I said with a serious face as I noticed his expression changed to that of someone being afraid of burdening someone else and this is the very first time I've seen him like that.
