Later that day, Vicky came back a little upset. As she looked kind of sad, we decided not to ask her anything and just let her calm down. She sat down and immediately covered her face with her palms and started crying. This made us quite alarmed and so we went to console her but to our surprise she burst out with a loud laughter which made us a little confused.

"What's going on with you?" Rica asked, quite puzzled.

"And why are you crying and laughing at the same time?" I also asked.

" Perhaps,Were you hit in the head " Lea also asked.

"No, from now on I am your sister in-law" Vicky said as she wiggled her brows at Rica.

" What, did Teddy ask you out?" asked Lea again.

"Yes, he asked if I could be his girlfriend and I agreed. He was really romantic, you know. like he was a fine ass gentleman earlier today and I kinda liked it quite a lot" Vicky replied with excitement.

" So now I guess we need to celebrate tonight or what do you say girls?" Mia said as she brought out a champagne bottle.

"Yes and why not. cheers to our newly taken friend" Rica said as she raised her glass.

" I kinda think we are quite pitiful or what do you think Nicky" Lea said with a fake cry.

" Cheers to our single lives" I also said and we all burst into an endless laughter.

After all the celebration, we washed up and went to sleep.The next day when we went to class, We heard about the death of Lydia's mom. She took some days off school and went back home. We really felt sorry for her and as a person who lost her mother too, I really understood what she might be going through now. We continued our days as usual and focused more on our academic performance.

After three weeks, Lydia returned to the school now quiet and calm. Many people pitied her but she just showed them that she was mentally and physically stable.

The next day, when we went to class,we met Lydia and she wasn't actually the Lydia that she was before she went home. At first Lydia used to smile a lot even with her enemies but now she literally frowns almost all of the time. I also figured out she stared at Mia with a lot of hate apparent in her eyes but I couldn't figure out why she was doing that though. I thought of a chance but immediately discarded it because if the way she looked at Mia was because of Ben , she would have done it even before her mother's death but why was she only doing it now. I was kind of curious but decided not to think much into it.

" I don't really know how that happened but I just hope everything goes back to being normal" Mark said on the phone.

" I hope so too. last time you told me they were going to announce the female lead for his upcoming drama right, when is that?" Rica asked.

" In two weeks time and by that time I think he will be alot better" Mark replied.

"I also hope he gets well soon. But by the way, who is the lead actress?"Rica asked.

" We haven't been told yet as it hasn't been finalized. Maybe by next week,we will get to know about her"replied Mark as he leaned against the sofa while holding his phone to his ears.

"What do you think about me looking for a role in the drama?" asked Rica with excitement.

" I guess you will do well but honestly, I don't really know your acting abilities quite well and so I will just advise you to complete college before debuting, I don't want my precious girlfriend to get stressed."Mark added dotingly.

" Actually, I am quite good with acting though. I will send you a proof later,"Rica said with a laugh.

" Then I guess I have to be well prepared for the proof right?"asked Mark with a sweet smile.

" Yes, you better prepare yourself for it" replied Rica jokingly."

"Okay I need to go now. bye" Mark said.

"Okay bye. love you" Rica said.

" I love you too" said Mark before ending the call.

Just then I came out of the washroom and asked her about who wasn't feeling well and she said it was Lyons. I then asked her if he's been taken to the hospital and she said yes Mark took him there.

I called Lyons later on to check on him but he kept on telling jokes while I listened to him. After some time, I told him to get some rest and ended the call.

I don't know when this thing started but whenever I talked to Lyons or heard someone praising him, I became very happy. I didn't know why I was feeling this way but I hope I don't feel bad about it later on.

One week later, Rica informed us about the female lead of the Faithful Reunion. The actress was just a year younger than Lyons and she was quite beautiful and capable. She has won many national and international awards . She was quite famous and had a large number of fans supporting her. She was also from a rich family besides that her physical features were very enchanting. In all , she was both beautiful and sexy.

I leaned my back on the chair and sipped my coffee as Rica continued talking non-stop about the actress. I wasn't really happy about it either. I sent Lyons a text and asked him about what he thinks of the female lead of his upcoming drama. He just said he heard she was quite capable but he hasn't met her before but maybe they'll meet at the conference of the drama next week.

A week later at the conference.

"Let's welcome our female lead for this anticipated drama Miss Emma Wilson with our famous star who is also the male lead for this drama Lyons Rogers" the host said as the two main leads walked gracefully to the stage. After a good thirty minutes, the conference came to an end successfully.

"I look forward to working with you and I hope you take good care of me" Said Emma with a smile as she extended her hands towards Lyons.

"I also look forward to having a good cooperation with you" Lyons also replied as he shook her extended hand.

As this moment was captured , many people started shipping the two actors which made a lot of people anticipate their chemistry in the upcoming drama.
