"Appa... Appaaaa...." searching for my dad I came to the living hall of my house.

("Dad... Daaaddd...")

"What ma...? Why are you screaming like this??" my dad asked me shifting his concentration from the newspaper to me.

"My application for the college is selected pa..." I started to jump up and down.

"Oh... That's nice ma..." my dad said with just a very small smile without any enthusiasm. But I didn't care about that, because I know he's not that expressive and man of few words. So I started searching for my mom.

"Ammaaaaa..." I called her in a singing tone and entered the kitchen. There she is.

"Amma, ungalukku oru matter theriyuma...?" I asked mom, munching some pieces of carrot which are neatly chopped by mom.

("Mom, do you know one thing...?")

"Haan haan... I heard your screaming there. By the way, when they asked you to come for the admission process?" Mom asked slapping my hand which was forwarded by me to take another piece of carrot.

"Coming Monday" I rubbed my hand softly where she slapped, pouting. But she didn't give me a glance and continued her work.

Then I went to my room and closed the door, started dialling my friend's number. But as usual I couldn't connect her. I don't know why her mobile was switched off for the past few days. So I couldn't get information about her college admission. She's Pavi, my best friend in school. I'm really missing her badly. Except her mother's mobile number, she gave her brother's number as a spare, because she don't have a own. But I didn't tried to her brother's number, I dunno why, whenever I thought of dialling his number, I feel nervous. May be because, till now I didn't tried to talk to any boys except Aju (Arjun)... Thanks to my strict parents and girls school I studied...*Rolling eyes*

In our last conversation which happened 3 weeks back, she said that her parents asked her to apply for a college in Vizag. And she was okay with it, because who'll say no to that well reputed in another state. Even I too want to study just like her at a college far away, but my parents won't allow me to...*sighs sadly*

But I'm happy with my current college. It's too a good and reputed college in our city.

Right now, I'm really bored. So I opened instagram and started scrolling. I saw a post of Pavi's brother, he usually don't show his face in his pictures, it was always his hand clutching a coffee cup or a white coat and not his face.

During our school days, Pavi usually blabbered about her brother and his fights with her in their home.

A notification sound brought me out of my thoughts. It was a message from the college, explaining about fees structure. I forwarded it to my dad and kept my love on the table. Yes, my love... My smartphone...

Yes, my smartphone is my bestfriend these days, thanks to my parents. Because I feel very lonely, I don't even have any siblings. My parents aren't friendly like parents of my friends. They usually fight with each other, don't talk with some affection. As I already said, my dad is not that expressive. I didn't know about mom, why she always start a fight with dad. At last she'll simply blame me and go. But one day, I read her diary in her absence, in that she wrote that she had a dream of becoming a nurse, but after her marriage, she can't achieve that. May be because of that, she is like that with us. But I didn't do any mistake...*pouts sadly*

Now, I'm eagerly waiting for Monday...

After starting to go to the college, I'll be feel less lonely nah... That's why...
