"So what are you going to do now?" Prisca asked wearily when she saw how upset and tired he was too.

"I don't know. I don't even know how to face her if she gives me the chance to explain things to her. I love her Prisca. I really do. And I'm sorry I hurt her. I just really wanted to know that regardless of her situation she would at least hesitate to cheat on me. Maybe I'm just an insecure person, but after my first relationship, I've been unable to start another relationship with anyone else until I met Kimberly. I was scared, especially when she said she wasn't a believer in the whole marriage thing. It's not an excuse, I know," Eric said with a shaky sigh which made Prisca feel sorry for him.

"You do love her?" Prisca asked reluctantly.

"More than either of you can imagine," he assured her.

"And you didn't approach her because her stepmother is your ex?" Prisca asked.
