"What were you thinking about having gone to the war front like that?" Longwei said sternly.
His eyes were showing that he was angry. He looked at his Gemma who was really scared.
Chen, seeing that he was angry at his Gemma, quickly defended him.
"You don't need to look at him like that. I was the one who locked him in and went on my own," she said.
"And who told you you can do that? Are you so confident of your power?" He shouted at her.
"No I wasn't ," she replied casually.
She didn't know if he was angry because she had gone to save his people or because she was going to get hurt.
"Then why did you carry those little legs of yours in front of trained soldiers? What if you get yourself killed! "
Chen didn't want to tell him that she didn't want anyone to get hurt anymore in the pack. She just had the urge to save them.
"Don't be angry. I came out unscratched," she said to him.
