"What are you going to do if I do that?"
I was about to say something when one of the pups pulled at the sleeve of my dress and told me that she wanted to show me a magic trick. I smiled despite myself.
"But you can't do magic!" I said to the little pup and she raised her chest and said.
"No I can do it, I can do a disappearing finger trick!"
My sister continued to pour more obscenities on me saying the nastiest things and it only took a little while for me to realise that she was just trying to get into the good favour of my husband's lover.
