Yes, I wasn't wrong it was my stepmother and it looked like she was going to spend the night here.
When did she get here? I saw her and the rest return. Did she come back with me not knowing she arrived? All these questions I've got no answer to.
Looking at her she was wearing a concerned look on her face and her face was tightened up. This is not my stepmother. She never for once cared about me even though she had taken care of me. She hated me so much because my father cheated on her. Now seeing this concerned look, I don't even know what to think.
"What are you still doing outside, Chen?" She asked with her hands folded around her bosoms.
"Mom," I called. "When did you arrive? I thought you left already" I said to her.
" Just came to talk to the Alpha King's mother. I'll be gone tomorrow" she replied blankly.
