Future plans

Just like the elders, Long Jun too was excited as the thought of his sect being the most powerful sect in the world. Although the process will take a very long time, he knew that with the system's help his Divine Chaos Sect will one day reach the peak of this world.

Abandoning those thoughts, Long Jun decided to think about the plans for the sect going forward. As of now, the Divine Chaos sect is a mere Tier 1 sect as the number of disciples that the sect has is less than one hundred.

The strongest sects in the Azure Cloud Empire are all Tier 3 sects with thousands of disciples lead by strong Nascent Soul Realm experts. Followed up by dozens of second rate sects that are in the Tier 2.

The most important thing that he has to do now is to increase the sect's reputation, so that it could recruit more disicples, and hence get a tier increase.

Long Jun thought that up until now, all his actions were based of the system, and he has not done anything for the sect besides completing the quests issued by the system. As the members of his sect grew, Long Jun realized that for most of the members of the sect, this sect is their only home and he, as the sect leader must protect them.

With these thoughts in mind, Long Jun slowly opened his mouth to interupt the chatting elders "Elders, although I get why you all are excited, I want you to get rid of the sect rankings idea first"

As Long Jun said those words, the elders quickly quited down as they focus their attention on him

"I agree that our sect has the potential to become the strongest sect in the continent. However, there is still a long way for us to reach that point and we need to focus on the present." Long Jun said and the elders nodded in agreement

"For now, I want all of you to familiarize yourselves with the new cultivation technique I gave you, and breakthrough to the Nascent Soul realm as soon as possible" He continued seriously and Elder Gangxu replied "Then sect master, what about my study of the tier 4 formation?"

"You can do that once you reach the Nascent Soul realm Elder Gangxu, believe me, reaching tier 4 in your formation making will be a lot faster if you have higher cultivation base" Long Jun replied as he received formation making skills from the system for his last reward

Elder Gangxu decided to follow Long Jun's instructions and all of the elders went into seclusion to breakthrough to the Nascent Soul realm.

Although the quests are within his expectations, Long Jun still felt happy to know that he will be rewarded for completing the recurring quest

Now that he had nothing urgent to do, he decided to start the plan for an important matter, which is helping Ming Huo complete his revenge

According to his previous story, Long Jun realized that Ming Huo's enemy, the one who destroyed his clan was none other than the prince consort Li Hao

Although Li Hao was nothing but an ant to him, his identity as a prince consort and a disciple of the Azure Cloud gate made it hard for Long Jun to move, as the current him does not have the strenght to fight the royal family as well as the major sects.

Long Jun then decided that the most important thing for him to do is to increase the sect's reputation so that they could have enough power to rival the major sects and the royal family, but the big question is how?

"Hmm, how about putting up flyers?" Long Jun said to himself as he quickly dismissed the idea, "Sigh, if only social media exists here, it would be easier to promote the sect if those are around

Even after much thinking, he still could not get the answer for his question which made him very frustated.

Usually, major sects will send their disciples to complete sect missions, such as helping nearby cities/villages face a beast tide, killing a demonic cultivator, protecting an escort,... to increase the sect's reputation. However, this way of promoting the sect is not an option for the Divine Chaos Sect as the number of disciples are very small and there is no one who will post a mission for us, a tier 1 sect.

However, as Long Jun thought of a way to promote the sect, an idea came up to his mind.

"Rather than promoting the sect, isn't it easier to promote myself?" Long Jun smiled as he felt that he just got a brilliant idea

Long Jun himself is probably the youngest Nascent Soul cultivator in the Azure Cloud empire, and he could gain immense fame in a very short time by using the title of 'Youngest Nascent Soul cultivator' to his name

"I am really the smartest huh" He said to himself arrogantly as he felt that his plan was flawless

Following his plan, Long Jun then went to the capital city and quickly go to the Mercenary society.

The Mercenary society is a large organization in the Azure Cloud empire and across the continent. The society is a place where rogue cultivators could accept missions that are issued by various people and they will be rewarded once the mission is finish.

Being a mercenary is a very common job for rogue cultivators, and the rewards that they get is not small by any means.

In the mercenary society, strenght is the only thing that matters and all mercenaries are ranked based on their cultivation base as well as the number of missions they have completed.

Entering the soicety, Long Jun could see that most of the mercenaries here are Qi Condensation cultivators, and they are called 1 star mercenaries.

Long Jun then walked to the counter and he casually said "I wish to join the mercenary society.."
