James' POV

I knew who he was the moment the man in the elevator came out.

He was the man who had a pleasant conversation with Catherine at the party last night.

Moreover, as soon as he came out of the elevator, he only looked at Catherine and even opened his arms to hug her.

I immediately put my arm around Catherine's shoulder and looked at her. "Aren't you going to introduce us?"

Catherine shook off my hands and ignored me. Instead, she gave the man a warm hug. "Roy, why are you here?"

"I sent you a message and called you, but you didn't respond. I was a little worried about you. I happened to pass by, so I came up to take a look. I didn't disturb you, did I?" he asked, looking back at me.

"No, no." Catherine took Roy to the meeting room.

I felt uncomfortable at this moment. Now I could do nothing but act like a gentleman. I could only watch the two of them leave, chatting and laughing.
