Although, Vibhu has recovered from fever but he is still weak and that's why I have decided to stay at home. I took three days leave from Mr. Miller for it. I decided to resume my official duties after collecting my exam hall ticket from school.

I was mopping when I heard Alex's voice and I flinched at his sudden appearance. I have not my dupatta (Indian stole to cover bosom and head) and I rushed inside to fetch it and wore it properly to cover my bosom. I always feel myself fully covered after wearing my stole but Mrinal told me that it hides my beauty and she wish that she could burn all my stoles.

He told me that he heard a guy talking to Maddy but he was speaking in Hindi. I was disappointed because I knew that Alex couldn't understand Hindi and he couldn't explain anything about the conversation. But he surprised me with the recording.

Well this angrez (Englishman) has some brains. He played the recording and I wanted to punch something after listening to that shitty crap. Some people don't deserve to live and Maddy was among such people.

Alex has interrupted my thoughts by asking me about the recording but I didn't want to involve him in my plan. I told him to go away but then he threatened me that he would ask Mrinal about it. Mrinal's grandmother was ill and she was off to her granny's place along with her family.

"You won't say a single word to Mrinal. I would tell you about it" I spat the words angrily.

"Then translate the whole conversation and don't dare to miss a single word" he towered over me and his face was just inches apart.

"I would tell you the summary only and not going to translate the Hindi slangs and filthy craps." I eyed him.

He pulled himself back and signalled me to continue.

"This boy is invited by Maddy in Hotel Imperial Blue heaven today around 5 Pm along with two other guys to have fun" I didn't want to tell him the other details so I paused.

"Gawri, I know there is more. Spit it out. What kind of fun?" Alex was smouldering me with his blue eyes.

"Maddy is bringing a girl with him in evening" I breathed deeply

"He would sedate her and all these guys will" I stopped and gazed at the floor because the things happened to me was reeling again in front of my eyes.

"Hey Gawri, I got it. You don't need to tell more." I didn't realize when I lost balance and collapsed in his arms. Alex held me tightly and his warmth soothed my shivering body.

"We can inform the police and get him caught red handed. We have the evidence" he made me sit at the chair.

"Alex, we can do that but you don't know how the police will treat that girl. She has to go through many obscene questions and I can't imagine if she can handle all these things" I sobbed remembering my past.

"We will call Mreenaal's father. He is a big cop, Right?" He suggested.

"She and her family are not here. They are off to her grandmother's place and her phone is not reachable" I informed him.

"Gawri, we should go to police station. I will ask dad to look into this matter" he suggested and I refused.

"The police officer of this zone is corrupt one. He has arrested my father under false charges and demanded money from us to release him. Mrinal's father has helped us at that time. I can't go to him."

"There should be some way to save that girl. These dogs will tear her into pieces" I fumed inside

"I won't leave that Maddy this time. I will beat the shit out of him" I shouted

"And how would you do that? Do you have any plan?" his question startled me.

"I don't know" I sighed

"We will rescue her from those wolves. I promise!" His promise was like an assurance that everything will be fine.

"What's the catch Alex? Why are you interested in this matter? It can be dangerous." I asked softly.

"Do you take me as your friend?" I nodded in yes.

"That's it. How could I spare the person who threatened your life? Who tried to snatch you from me?" I was overwhelmed and couldn't utter any word to him.

"And don't worry about the danger part. I need not to tell you how efficient I am with that" he smirked.

"You just take some rest and meet me at the embassy. I will keep everything ready" he waved bye and left from my house.

"Alex, Alex! Where are you?" I searched around for him.

I reached embassy half an hour earlier to the office time and headed straight to Alex's room. I tried to knock but it was already open so I went in directly.

"Yes, may I help you miss" A man with trimmed beard and thin moustache greeted me in British accent. He was handsome, height same as Alex, same complexion but his eyes were hidden behind aviators. I thought that I have entered a wrong room in haste.

"I am so sorry Sir. I am looking for Alex Miller. Can you please tell me where is he?"

"Hi, I am his cousin Will, William Miller. Nice to meet you Miss" he introduced himself but I was not interested in his introduction. My eyes were wandering everywhere in search of Alex.

"Miss? Miss?" he tried to gain my attention.

"Gauri, my name is Gauri. Please tell me about Alex, Sir. We have an urgent appointment at some place" he was annoying me.

"Very well then, I will call Alex but you have to close your eyes" I eyed him angrily. Has he gone nuts?

"What?" I glared at him.
