Alex
I was impressed by Gawri, she was a beauty with brain and power but she was mysterious. She reappeared in the lab after 5 - 10 minutes and her face was expressionless. Nobody was affected in the class on her arrival except two people that are Mreenal and Roul. They rushed towards her, exchanged few words and get back to their places within seconds.
My curiosity was rising with their secretive behavior. The three of them left as soon as the last class gets over and I was looking around for any traces of them. I arrived in front of the gym when I heard their voices.
"Main papa ko batati hu abhi. Wo dekh lenge in kamino ko. In logo ko apni sahi jagah pe pahuchance ka time aa gaya hai (I am telling Papa. He will see these bastards. Now it is time to send them to their right place)" Mreenaal huffed in anger and called someone.
"Nahi Mreenaal, abhi nahi. Mera badla pura nahi hua hai abhi (No Mreenaal. My revenge is still incomplete)" Gawri snatched her phone and disconnected the call.
"Alex what are you doing here" Roul asked with suspicion
"I was looking for you guys. You left so early" I scanned their faces which were not happy to see me.
"Tujhe kya lagta hai isne kuch suna hoga (What do you think, has he heard anything)" Gawri mumbled to Mreenaal and I acted like I haven't heard them.
"Mujhe nahi lagta. Ise Hindi nahi ati (I don't think so. He doesn't understand Hindi)" Mreenaal replied with confidence.
"Lekin iske papa ko to ati hai. Ise bhi ati hogi (But his father knows Hindi. He must also know)" Gawri explained her doubt. So she came to know that my father knew her language.
"Ye bahut hi kamina ladka hai, hai na Gawri (Alex is a mean guy. Isn't it Gawri)" Roul was shocked on Mreenaal words.
I knew she referred me intentionally to get a reaction from me but I remained silent.
"I was telling her that you are very concerned about your friends" Mreenaal smirked at Gawri and she nodded in understanding. She was convinced that I couldn't understand her language.

"What is she doing here?" I muttered when I spotted Gawri at the entrance of embassy. I followed her while she was heading towards dad's office. I halted for a minute after she entered his office.
"May I come in Dad?"
"Yes" I gently opened the door.
I pulled out a surprised face when I spotted Gawri at desk opposite to dad's table.
"GAWRI! What a pleasant surprise? What are you doing here" I gave her my best smile.
"Alex, what brings you here?" My father has interrupted before she could answer me.
"Err, Hmm" I was speechless.
'Think Alex think what has brought you here.' I scratched my head for any excuses.
"Ineedatutor" I replied in one breathe.
"What?" both of them have asked in unison.
"Well Dad, I need a tutor who could help me in studies and other activities of the school. As you know, I come in midterm so I am having problems in catching up the previous chapters and all."
'Whoa! What a good liar I am.' I mentally patted myself.
"Okay, I will talk to your principal and make some arrangement. Is that fine with you?" He eyed me like asking me 'what the hell you are doing here'.
"Anything else Alex" He clearly wanted me out of his room.
"No that's fine but I think if somebody from my class would help me then it would be more comfortable for me" I was determined to annoy him like hell.
"Okay, that's nice if you want to do group study. Ask your friends then" he flipped pages of his file while ignoring me completely.
"Gawri, will you help me with studies?" I faced her.
"She won't"
He was not allowing her to talk to me and it was irritating me.
"Alex, she is assisting me in my work that's why she can't help you. Did you get that?" he gave a stern look.
"Okay Dad, thanks and congratulations Gawri for your new job" I scowled without looking at him and retreated back toward the door.
"Thanks, Miller" I finally heard her voice. Finally, the iceberg melted.
"Gawri, Call him Alex. Now you are my assistant that's why people can misinterpret the way you address my son since I am also Miller"
"Sorry Mr. Miller, it won't happen again"
I scanned their faces which were hidden in their laptops and it was a clear sign that I should leave them alone. But I did a happy dance in my mind because I could see her even after school.
Dad has become a mountain between me and her. He won't allow me near to her and talking to her in his presence was next to impossible task. He was training her basics of diplomacy and after some time she would accompany dad to his meetings outside the embassy.
