Daksha's POV

"What did they say? " Rey's nervous voice reached my ears as I told him that I came out to my parents.

"Well, my father, he remained silent, mom gasped at my reaction, " I told him.

"Daksha, " Rey warned me.

"Fine, my father refused to talk to me from the moment I told him that I like girls too, and mom packed some religious books and assured me that it is just a phase and it will pass down and I will be able to get married to a nice guy and have children." I sighed, recalling everything that happened back home.

I am pretty sure mom would be at the temple praying to God that he should be the one recovering me from whatever 'curse' I have been infected with.

Seriously mom?

"I am sorry Daksha, they-" I interrupted him.

"Hey, it's fine, I understand them, they need time to process this, that's the reason I left early in the morning, " I smiled at him.
