(A/N) Kayla's scene begins at 8 am, couldn't write both scenes together so Ty's scene came first, now it's Kayla's turn; enjoy.
Kayla pause to look at the clock on the wall in the kitchen then began pacing again. 8:10 am and he still wasn't home, where was he, at his parent's house or one of his friends? Damn this wasn't good, not at all, I can't lose him, not now, we have come so far, I was so close to having it all. She thought running her finger through her hair over and over again.
After he stormed out last night she had gone after him in her car but she couldn't find him, she even went to his parent's house and buzzes the gate a few times but no one answer.
She called him countless times but still no answer, maybe he was there and didn't want to speak to her; alright fine, but that was last night, surely he must have calmed down by now enough to talk to her. She thought dialing his number again and again it ring out and went to voicemail and for the thirtieth time, she left him a long message.
After which she put the phone on the counter and rake her fingers back and forth in her hair. No way, this isn't happening, I'll not lose him, he and his money are mines, all mine, I don't care what I've to do, I'll not lose him.
She was about to dial his number again when there was an angry knock on her front door. Ty, she thought running towards the door and yanking it open only to see Jake standing there, as soon as his eyes met her's he grabbed her hand and pull her outside.
"How could you do this to me, Kayla? How could you?" He demands. "What are you doing here? If you hadn't insisted on coming over here last night none of this would have happened." She hissed.
"Are you fucking kidding me right now? You've been lying to me since the moment I met you. I told you I had trust issues after what happened between me and my ex and you swear to me that I could trust you and all this time you've been lying to me!" He shouts.
"The man is your fiancé Kayla! And you told me countless times that he was your brother, you- sick- twisted- bitch, I could've lost my life last night because of you." He said angrily.
"Well, you didn't so..." "Well I didn't?" He snorts in disgust cutting her sentence short. He then steps back and observes her face. "You don't feel a shred of remorse, do you?" He asks in disbelief.
At that moment she remember that he had promised to take her shopping this weekend and give her another thirty grand, maybe she could still get something out of him.
"Ok, look, baby, I'm sorry alright but I'm in love with both of you and I lied because I didn't want to lose either of you, please understand and forgive me I love you baby please." She said trying to hug him but he push her away.
"forgive you! You must be fucking joking, you're a twisted, disgusting liar and I don't ever want to see you again." He said backing away from her. "What about our baby?" She asks pretending to be hurt. "I don't want anything to do with it, I don't want anything in my life that reminds me of you, you're dead to me." He said and turning he began walking back to his car.
"Baby please don't leave, Jake please." She cried holding her stomach and going down on her knees, she knew he saw her actions and she was hoping he would feel sorry for her and come to her aid but all he did was stand there with his back to her.
"I hope you lose it, I would hate to think that a part of me was growing inside a heartless bitch like you." He said over his shoulder as he got in his car and drive away.
When he was out of sight, she slowly got up and straightens her dress. "It's a lucky thing it's not up to you then, asshole." She said to herself as she enter the house with a nasty smirk on her face.
She took up the phone and dialed Ty's number again but he still didn't answer. "Alright fine, if you won't talk to me then I'll get someone to talk to you on my behalf." She said out loud in frustration.
"Mark my words Tyler Jackson, you have the means to give me the kind of life that I've always wanted and have gotten used to and I'll be damned if I'm going to let you walk away from me." She said out loud to one of his photos that were on the glass table in the living room; then grabbing her keys from the table she left the house.
Twenty minutes later Kayla was pounding on her friend's door. Susan opened her door and Kayla breezed past her ignoring the fact that her friend was dressed for church. "I need your help," Kayla said breathlessly.
"Kayla, you're as pale as a ghost, what happened?"Susan asks in concern. "You've to help me, Susan, I did something really stupid and I don't know how to fix it." "Alright, calm down, come into the kitchen let me get you something to drink." Susan helps her into a chair and walks towards the fridge.
"You know you shouldn't upset yourself so much, it's not good for the baby." Susan poured a glass of orange juice and placed it in front of Kayla. "Alright, now tell me what happened."
"Well Tyler and I had a big fight last night and he stormed out and didn't come back, I don't know where he's and I'm scared." "Okay well he probably spends the night at his parent's, I don't think it's anything to worry about," Susan said.
"What's not to worry about?" Martin asks. "Tyler stormed out last night after their fight, he might just be cooling off before facing you again," Susan said. "I don't think it's going to be that simple, not after what I did," Kayla said sadly. "Why, what did you do that was so bad?" Martin asks.
"Well Tyler went to the movies with his brothers last night and after he left one of my friends came over, we were only going to talk but one thing led to another and we began making out."
"You what!" Susan said softly but harshly enough to express her anger without drawing the attention of her kids that was still upstairs getting dressed. "Susan let her finish," Martin said smiling.
"Tyler came back and caught me, I didn't expect him back so soon….I….." Kayla's voice trails off as she saw the big breath that Susan took as she held up her hand, cutting Kayla's sentence short. "Hold on, are you trying to tell me that Tyler caught you making out with another man in his house?" She asks in disbelief. "And his bed; but it was just a stupid mistake, I didn't mean to do it."
"A whole lot of good that is going to do you now." Susan snorts glaring at her friend. "Way to stick it to him Kay, now he can experience some of the pain you felt when….."
"Oh shut up Martin and wipe that stupid grin off your face." Susan sneered angrily at her husband. "What the hell is wrong with you Kayla? After everything you went through before, you told me then that Tyler said that if you ever cheat on him again that it would be over between the two of you, he did say that yes?" Susan asks.
"Yes, he did," Kayla mumbled. "So what were you thinking? How could you make the same mistake twice?" Susan demand. "I don't know okay, that's why I'm here; I was hoping you could help me." Kayla sobs.
"To be honest, I wouldn't call what you did a mistake, I would call it justice." Martin smiled biting into his sandwich. "You're not helping Martin," Susan said sternly.
"And why should I, after what that bastard did to her he had this coming. You're better off without him." "No, I'm not Martin, I want him back, I've to get him back." "Whatever, I'm going to check on my kids." He said and stormed from the room.
"So what do you expect me to do?" Susan asks folding her hands across her chest. "Could you talk to him for me, tell him I'm…. how sorry I am...please Susan, Can you just do this for me please?"
"I really don't think that talking to him will make a difference right now Kayla." "You don't know that, Tyler loves me and he'll forgive me, it's just going to take a little longer this time." "You sound very sure of that and I hope for your sake that you're right."
