"My dear Fei'er," Madam Jin was the first to speak.

"Mother, how are you doing. Hope I didn't wake you up," Elders usually went to bed early but Yang Lifei didn't want to make the call the next day since she might interfere with Madam Jin's plans of the day. But she was still surprised she picked on the first ring.

"No my dear, I was actually expecting your call," Madam Jin really sounded happy on the phone.

"You were?"

"You've made it an habit of calling me everyday but you haven't called today, that's why I picked immediately," she had already prepared herself for bed but hadn't received Yang Lifei's phone call and she actually had her phone in her hands waiting.

She even surprised Jin Chen's father when she said she wouldn't go to bed if she doesn't speak to Yang Lifei. And if Incase Yang Lifei didn't call her, then she would make the call himself.
