"Ah .. my handsome Simon when you grow up you will be a star…" the woman said
"Just like me" the man replied
"Oh my god, not that again"
"But you have to know if I didn't marry you I would have been a star, I'm just kidding, (sigh)"the man said
Under his breath the man said the "ah the models, the fans, the autographs, exchanged for a troublesome woman"
"Did you say something?"
"I just said I would never have dreamt of having such a beautiful woman as my wife!"
Wait A minute…
'Who are these people and why am I so short?
Why are my hands so small?'
It feels so unrealistic that I just turned from a 30 year old to a 10 year old in an instant.
Even though its seems I have been given a second chance at football, it worries me that I feel so awfully calm about everything like I have no reason to panic. But who am to bite the hand that led me to this moment, all I can do is to make the most of it for Football.
Why Football? Ever since I was a kid, I was always told I had the talent to become one of the football greats like Messi and Ronaldo. Naturally, I believed what they said and because of this, I grew egotistical. Whenever at school, whenever at home, I would always boast how I will be the Greatest Athlete to walk the earth.
Under the influence of my father, I received football training since I was a child , and I was talented ~like Messi talented~ I always said it will be easy to go pro but it wasnt like all the fairytales . I never made it into pro level due to my entitled attitude I acted as if was too good to scoop low when all those small insignificant top clubs came for me. I belittled those friends who were there with me from the beginning then chased them away the moment the Top clubs came. I always wanted the perfect contract, the perfect teammates and the Perfect coach but they never came, maybe it was my karma racking up or maybe my good luck ended as when I was ready for anything the small insignificant top clubs didn't even want what i was offering as I was labelled "Mentally Unstable." So I the greatest talent in the 21 century(self labelled) was signed was playing in the Sunday League till my retirement.
But with this new life I will prevail and keep my arrogance to when I eventually reach the Top and become the Greatest Athlete in the world.
