"Welcome, young master," greeted the waiter.

"Where are they?" he asked.

"Everyone has gathered in the young master's dining room," he replied.

He nodded and immediately stepped into the mansion, which witnessed his growth and development. A European-style mansion with interiors that seem luxurious and warm is a place to live for a family of four core members plus ten servants.

"Woohoo... this handsome man has finally arrived too, mom" a woman teased.

"Hahahaha... right" the mother replied.

They have gathered at the dinner table, consisting of the father, who is the leader in this family, and two very beautiful women, namely his beloved mother and sister.

"How is your job, Archard?" asked the father.

"Everything went smoothly, dad" he replied.

"Who is your lover now, bro?" asked the younger brother

Archard didn't answer, he immediately gave a scary look because his younger brother dared to discuss couples in front of his parents.

"Why not answer your sister Archard's question?" asked the mother.

"No mom yet," he lazily replied.

"Find a partner that you can make your wife; don't look for a woman just to meet your biological needs, son" said the worried mother.

"I'm not interested in getting married, mom," he replied again.

"Then how will mommy get Archard's grandson ? Mommy also wants to be like Mommy's friends who can take their grandchildren for a walk," she explained sadly.

"I can give you grandchildren, but not to marry mom," he replied.

"How can Archard?" said the father.

"Don't you think that Mommy's grandchild will be born from a woman who is often used by various men?" growled the mother.

"Of course, the grandson of this family must be from a woman who can carry herself properly and is intelligent. The background is also good" said his mother again.

"Your mommy's words are true, you should never plant your seeds in any woman" replied the father.

Archard remained silent throughout his parents' words, this was what made him lazy to be in his mansion because they always asked the same question.Disgust with the question led him to choose to live in his private apartment instead.

"Already, mom and dad, let's continue eating. I believe my brother cannot instill his seeds in just any woman," his younger brother defended.

After the meal was finished, they moved to the back garden to drink wine together while chatting. Archard actually wanted to be absent from this event, but it seemed impossible because it looked like his parents were going to be discussing a serious matter.

"Alice, you will soon graduate from college, what is your next goal ?" asked the father.

Alice Zoeline Mackinley is the second child and only daughter of 24-year-old Charles Javier Mackinley and Eliana Oliver Mark, who is studying in the fashion design field.

"The plan is that I want to open a small boutique in the middle of town," he replied.

"Good then, if you need help, just tell Daddy," the father said.

"Sure dad, I will ask for your help," he replied, hugging his father.

"I have agreed to a meeting with the Gerard family tomorrow night, Archard, there is no refusal" the father said.

"I refuse, dad. Do you still want to set me up with Denise?"

"Until now you haven't had a lover, so why would you refuse? There is no other choice at this point. You still have to want to be matched with him" replied the father, not wanting to lose to his son.

"Yes, son, we just accepted this matchmaking offer. We already know that Denise comes from a good family, and so does Denise" said the mother.

Archard looked at his mother in disbelief, as well as at his younger sister, who was exchanging glances with his mother, and his older brother, who gave a sign to obey their parents' words.

"You just don't know how real Denise behaves" Archard thought.

Archard finally nodded in agreement to satisfy the family. He understood why his parents did that because maybe he was worried about himself. But can't he respect the decision of the child who doesn't want to get married?

A fun evening for two families who meet to discuss the continuation of their child's relationship. Parents look enthusiastic for this meeting because, in the end, they will become a big family too if their children are married.

"Thank you, Mr. Gerard, for inviting our family" replied Charles kindly.

"We are the ones who thank you for agreeing to fulfill our invitation to discuss our child's problems, right?" he said with a smile.

"How are you, Archard?" asked Denise's father.

"Okay, sir," he replied.

"Let's eat first before discussing further about our chat, because I'm afraid it will be late if we postpone dinner to chat" said Denise's mother.

They also eat quietly, there is no chatter while eating because it is considered polite. After they finished eating, the dishes were removed from the table, leaving only dessert and wine remaining.

Denise has never let go of her future husband, who is super cool. Indeed, she has always liked Archard, but there has never been a response from him. As a result, he became enraged and sought ways to communicate with him through his father.

"You've been in a relationship for quite a while, don't you want to get engaged first so you can formalize your relationship?" asked Mr. Gerard.

"I agree, dad, if we get engaged first" said Denise enthusiastically.

The parents nodded in agreement; unlike Archard, he was silent. Even if you cancel, you have to have a good reason, right? Archard doesn't have one yet, so he just stays quiet and follows his parents.

"What if we hold their engagement next month?" asked Mr. Gerard.

"No, in three months. In three months, I will be busy abroad," Archard replied, refusing the time, which was said to be too short.

"What do you think, Denise?" asked Mr. Gerard.

"Hmm, okay, daddy. I just follow the proposal from Archard" he said with a smile.

"Okay, we have an engagement three months from now, yeah?"

"Okay, we agree," replied Archard's parents.

Their conversation was dominated by Mr. Gerard regarding this match. In fact, there are many advantages if the Gerard family is matched with the Mackinley extended family.

'Finally, you will be mine forever, Archard' thought Denise.

After eating, they will return to his residence, and Archard must take Denise to her parents' mansion. This is because of the orders of his parents, who did order the child to accompany their future son-in-law.

"Honey, we're getting engaged soon. So you can't silence me anymore, you have to pay more attention to me," said Denise.

Archard is bothered by Denise's behavior, who is relying on her for support in this car; additionally, he is extremely lazy when it comes to treating Denise well. The luxury car had arrived in front of the same big mansion as Archard, and he couldn't help but open the car door for Denise.

"Thank you, tomorrow we have lunch together, okay?" she asked.

"I cannot be busy," Archard replied.

"Do you remember what your mother said earlier that you have to pay more attention to me and we have to be together more often?" Denise replied without making any sense.

"Hm, well, just send me the location tomorrow" with a sigh

"Okay, honey" said a happy Denise while kissing Archard's cheek.

Not much to say anymore he immediately got into the car and told the driver to immediately go to his apartment.
