Despite wrapping herself in the thickest and warmest clothes she could find from the system's store, An Yao still felt like she was being cut by icy knives when standing in the icy wilderness.
Her skin turned red from the cold, and she shivered uncontrollably. The dream simulation from the system was way more realistic than she anticipated!
Even her breath formed visible white mist, as if the air itself was crystallizing.
If it weren't for walking a bit and eventually finding the young Gu Di'er from his childhood in a small grove, An Yao might have thought she had been transported to another world again.
The young black snake in front of her was similar in size to an ordinary wild snake, about a meter long.
Its body was slender, lacking the intimidating presence of the nearly twenty-meter-long adult python.
Instead, it looked more like… a pretty black snake toy!
Rather than being frightening, it was undeniably cute.
