The chunnin exams: Kabuto

team 7 entered the room as soon as they stepped in a wave of KI came from the other parties of different villages. Sasuke felt their weak KI and almost laughed before he countered with his own that made some of them fall to they're knees.

"hn pathetic"

Naruto stepped up feeling way more confident on what he was going to say.

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki and I'm going to kick all your butts and become a chunnin believe it!"

Sasuke looked surprised at the fact he wasn't affected by his display and then face palmed at his cocky statement.

'I can't fully blame him plus he's said so much on his skills I can't wait to see what he has'

he uncovered his face and dodged Ino's attempted hug him making her fall into Sakura who grew an urk mark.

"Ino pig!"

she shoved her off which made Ino mad as she got her face.

"what was that for forehead!?"

"you tried to hug up on Sasuke back off"

"oh and why should I"

"cause your not strong like I am!"

"wanna bet!?"

"I don't need to!"

Sasuke deadpanned hearing them argue while Naruto was talking to Choji.

"woman are such a drag"

Shikamaru walked next to Sasuke.

"Yah know what I mean"

"hn yes they can be like that so what made someone as lazy as you want to be a chunnin?"

"my sensei and my parents and it would be a drag to deal with them if I don't become one... wait this is the most you talked to me"

"your weak shikamaru but I respect your intelligence"

"I'll accept that good luck in the exams"

Sasuke turned and everyone looked the same direction seeing Kabuto Yakashi someone that Sasuke couldn't help but be impressed by his ability to lie so good that no one would suspect him working for Orochimaru so instead of shutting this whole encounter down by exposing him he decided to play along.

"who are you supposed to be?"

Kiba asked giving him a ride look but Kabuto wasn't fazed.

"my name is Kabuto Yakashi I've taken the exams several times before"

"ha guess that means you're a failure then"

"you know you should really think outside the box mutt"

Kiba shot a glare at the direction of the voice seeing Sasuke.

"what was that you emo bastard!?"

"you heard me and watch what you call me or.. something unfortunate might happen"

"what's that supposed to mean you wanna fight right here"

"tsk you against me? if we were to do that it'll be like a average dog against a bijuu you aren't ready for that"

Kiba went quiet but had his eyes rolled at him.

"so Kabuto do you have anything special or did you just come to give a pointless warning"

"haha that's funny but no"

he pulled out some blank cards.

"I came to help my fellow Shinobi when I channel chakra into these I get shown all the stats and missions of the Shinobi"

"oh really well I have no interest you can help them but I'm just fine"

Sasuke walked away and leaned against the wall while Naruto was the one asking for information but as soon as Kabuto said something about the sound team they tried to knock him out but Sasuke Blitzed them kicking Dosu's gauntlet making him fall on his back.

'I see what Kabuto was trying to do get close to the Konoha teams and show himself as a enemy of the sound giving him no strings connecting him to them a good tactic as an undercover operative'

"get lost or I won't be so nice next time you make a move"

Dosu was about to make a move but when he looked at his eyes he froze feeling like he was facing a snake that would squeeze him until he turned blue he gritted his teeth under his bandages.

"fine Uchiha but next time I'll show you the full might of the sound"

'full might of the sound more like full might of the guinea pigs'

a cloud of smoke appeared as Ibiki appeared with 2 other jounin.

"that's enough out of all of you maggots get ready for the 1st exam"

Sasuke chose to do the same as usual cheating with his eyes but chose to stay awake and glanced at Tenten having a series of Mirrors he rolled his eyes and out of spite pulled out a kunai and tossed it into her mirrors cutting them all as they crashed to the floor shattered.

"that's one strike maggot!"

"S-sorry!"

she squeaked before looking in the direction the weapon came from and turning away a little freaked out in the glare Sasuke gave her.

'that shit was so obvious I had to sabotage her like no one noticed or was she so unthought of they forgot she was there'

the time went off as Ibiki gave the question Naruto still gave his speech which made more people pass as Anko appeared to announce the second stage of the exams.
